I'm being shamed for different characters.
#21
I agree that it's probably more teasing than shaming, but apparently it touches a sore spot for you.
I also agree that as long as you're enjoying the game and not hurting anyone, nobody can tell you you're doing it wrong or "failing". Having many characters, of which none are beyond early 3rd job, does make it seem like you lack the discipline to keep training a character once it can't level twice an hour. However, it's a game, not your homework. If you don't feel like applying discipline, you don't have to. I do believe that by not going further you're missing out on quite a bit of fun content, but, well, none of us can experience all the game has to offer, unless we get to level 160 or so on every class there is.

As for your second question: personally I find Dawn Warriors very easy and fun, so I recommend that.

And an aside about your writing style: using a "unique" or "special" or "personal" format, instead of the standard way English is written, is annoying. Yours is not quite as bad as ALL CAPS or l33t, but it still takes attention away from what you have to say. If you are trying to get people to answer your questions (or understand your answers), the least you can do is present them in a legible way.

I have tons of chars, but it's not that I get bored of playing as one or anything. I just like them all Biggrin

Funny thing is that my HS mule might actually reach 4th before any of my 120- chars. lol

Dude, when I played JapanMS, I switched characters whenever I got bored with one. Which I'd usually only get to level 40ish... don't worry. I've had at least 40 or so characters in my Maple career.

Alright, I'm just gonna put this out there because I don't know what to do anymore.

Everyone in my guild always shames me because I have more than one character..
They're like "Dude, you have like a million characters... LOL." Is that even a bad thing? Sometimes it's hard to play on just one class because a person gets bored and it's great to raise a set of characters and feel good about it.

I don't know sometimes, I actually agree with them but I don't at the same time.

This is how it works with me:
"Oh I love my Aran..I love pirates, but I really like Resistance Battle Mages and Mechanics, but..but I should make a KoC."

I always feel like this..and I think it's because I'm not that successful in the game overall quite honestly.
I believe that if I was more rich and had better items, I would not be so "un-attached" to classes, and I would focus more on one thing.

Okay, so this is what I have so far:

Aran In Misery - Lv. 74

Outlaw - Lv. 75

Battle Mage [3rd Job] - Lv. 90

Mechanic [3rd Job] - Lv. 72

But yeah..
I hate thinking about this..I don't know what I should focus on, or if it would be a bad thing making more characters..
I just don't know anymore. People always pick on me for this. ;~;

To be honest, if I were to make another character, it would be a Cygnus Knight or a Buccaneer. I never really got into making one, and would it be smart to do so? UA's are coming soon as well. o:
Either a Dawn Warrior, Wind Archer, or Thunder Breaker.

But with Thunder Breakers, would it be better to make a Bucc, or Thunder Breaker?
[Basically, if I were to make another character, should it be a KoC, or a Bucc? Or..both?]

Share your views on this, and thanks. c:

Sounds more like they're teasing you rather than shaming you.

In my case, I have (I'll use GMS names)...

Lv127 Aran
Lv100 Dual Blade
Lv81 Outlaw
Lv81 Chief Bandit
Lv78 Evan
Lv73 Chief Bandit (STR)
Lv63 Cleric
Lv56 Page
Lv40 Blaze Wizard

+ Lots of Lv3x characters which I gave up on.

Currently training a Dawn Warrior (Lv21).

So...yeah, I'm the same way. XD

Blessing of Empress gives 24 WA/MA at max (Lv24). This can be obtained by having a Lv120 CK.

@Hanabira:

So..it's like Blessing of the Fairy? It goes on all characters? 8D..

warustar Wrote:
Oh, okay. I feel like making a Cygnus Knight now.
I just thought Buccs would be fun? I don't know honestly..

Okay so here's the deal. I'm going with making a KoC but Wind Archer, Dawn Warrior, or Thunder Breaker?
I also like Buccs a lot. :x

And honestly, is it really that bad to have that many characters? The ones that I listed in the first post.

Hi, Why do you center your text?

I simply do this because its fun? Who would you care what others think of it? xD
I like how i give each of my characters a thing that makes my friends know its me without even having to tell them. ;D

Having multiple characters helps you find the playstyle that you are most comfortable with.

You need to play characters to find which one you like. The nice thing about Big Bang is it's not hard to find what you might like.

I don't think you really have anything to worry about.

My Battle Mage was the first class I've gotten to the mid 90s, or even 3rd job in general. Have about 15+ others that I don't feel like naming (Read as: I can't remember them all).

@OT.

My sig only has 6 of my characters. This doesnt include other accounts which are now banned for various reasons. I've also deleted a level 50 Dexless fighter before I converted my Hero, I've deleted a 48 aran (hate them), numerous preBB Bandits (Couldn't seem to get past maxing SB and mastery...), a couple hunters, a couple ILs, a cleric, an FP. All the deleted characters were in the 4X preBB, so we're talking like a few days work tops.

I'm one of those people that can't really stick with a class until it's level 70. Once it's 70 I find it a LOT easier to level. It's mainly because all the "Physical" classes are so similar (Warriors/bowmen/dits) consisting of Booster, Mastery, and a new attack or two, possibly a buff. The skills you get 30-70 are all very useful, but lackluster... I won't make a DK until UA is released because of that. I LOVE warriors post 70, it's getting to 70 that bugs me...
