Last I saw, those boxes in CA were only for getting rare reskins of guns, that otherwise performed exactly the same, all of which expire anywhere between 1 and 90 days (guess which side it leans towards). It's sadly a really profitable model, as evident by the amount of those guns you'd see playing for an hour or so.
