I need to verify whether I can actually see Pantheon's mandrop proof positive before I actually wander out into ranked games. I have never seen a Pantheon since the patch.

Has anyone ever played denyplank? Sounds hilarious on paper when combined with the "bankplank" gambit.

He's alright. But there are certain characters that can counter him in a lane like kassadin.

Feel No Fear is one of the top ranked players and he mains gangplank. He's played over 250 games with him in ranked and only played about 30 games total with his other top 2 mostly used champs.

He makes Gangplank, a normally laughed-at champion look OP.

Riot better fix these d/c issues and crashes soon o.O It's preventing me from accurately assessing Irelia's true potentials in these games. Played a 6/1/6 game where our Galio had to reboot, and their Sion went AWOL or something after killing their golem.

@Spiegelmann, I forgot that Pantheon is in the champ rotation. Normally I would accept your offer, but my mom, being the worry wort that she is, is trying to shut down my gaming during the weekdays. However, I do have access to two computers that can play LoL, so I'll give you an answer as to whether I can play ranked safely sometime soon.

The forum QQ is related to what I believe are the issues with Rammus. Now I'm not saying he needs a rework or anything, just that he's a bit more powerful than he should be.

I think it's more appropriate to nerf his Powerball speed and maybe his Defensive Ball Curl damage. Other than that, I'm fine with Rammus.

I'm still undecided about the DBC damage. But it's either the Powerball that needs to slow down (he's capable of ganking you even if you're not past the river line or even in the river), or the Taunt duration should go down slightly (in the games I play, Rammus can usually get away with taunting you, whereas Fiddlesticks' 3.5s Fear entails more risk for him due to how squishy and slow he is).

Sorry, had to say that before >Pineapple does. In the future you want to get Archangel Staff, which gives you the fatass mana pool you probably wanted, and it makes your spells hurt a lot more.

3.5 seconds of not doing anything but attacking is a pretty beefy CC (certain exceptions apply, such as an ulting Master Yi, rofl). Before you think about just trying to pile a bunch of damage on the guy, think about what happens when your teammates arrive to... chain CC the poor bloke so you can pile even more damage... and even more CC... and even more damage... and even more CC... and in the meantime the guy's Mercury Treads is crying because it's not able to save him.

Before his serious defense item fetishes in late game, Rammus himself doesn't contribute too much damage outside of his ultimate. Of course it's his teammates's jobs to lay the smackdown on the guy he initiates on. It's a team game.

Since Fiddles is a caster, the majority of your items should be AP. I don't see Deathcap on you; it will make your spells a whole lot deadlier. It gives +155 AP plus 30% of your total AP.

I see you have Mejai's Soulstealer. I would not get that unless you know how to hoard tons of assists/kills. You did well in that game, but the problem is can you keep consistent results and stack up Mejai's to max every time?

Consider getting 3-4 AP items (RoA, Rylai Crystal Scepter, Deathcap, etc), Shoes (Mercury Treads or something), and Banshee Veil (or a piece of armor for PR?)

In general, I give TheManu the thumbsup for itemization well-done.

Mercury Treads is something he can get away with not using in this game. I doubt that players at his level are competent enough to handle their team's only two hard CCs (Pantheon's Aegis of Zeonia and Ashe's ultimate Enchanted Crystal Arrow) that would seriously put a dent in Fiddlesticks, and even if they were, his teammates have plenty more CCs to mess with them. Same argument with Banshee's Veil, unless Ashe is uber god with her ult. There's not a whole lot of crippling magic damage from the other team, so a single generic MR item would be fine (Abyssal Scepter fits the bill) vs. Akali and maybe MF.

I'm being one of those terrible, evil nubs that tries out new champions in normal games. The only ones I did decently in were as Rammus and Panth.

I would say your arguement is fully true if you had a good # of kills alongside your high # of assists. But I will accept the fact you racked up tons of assists while whacking away with Rammus.

^ Note: I had to be really aggressive in this game as my team nearly fell apart at one point. I ended up taking the lead and rallying my team back from the brink.

I tried to let my teammates get the kills instead of taking them for myself. I'd rather them go to someone like Koggles or Malzahar.
