Good free program to take screenshots in maple?
#1
I always used fraps to take screenshots, but there's a problem: it only save in bmp images, and i cant upload them on my blog. I then tried the screenshot taking option in maple, but it doesn't let me take some anymore, i don't know why. I then tried xfire, but it just doesn't work. Anyone have a good legal program for this?

Takes too much time, even more considering the enormous amount of screenshots i need to take for my blog.

You can try using XFire.

With XFire, you can take screen shots, record videos, do live broadcasts, and more and it's all free.

Fraps..

Xfire..

Which one is known to have the smallest risk of viruses?

I just downloaded xfire, but it doesn't record maplestory in my game list, so whenever i use scl lock+d (screenshot taking button), nothing happens. You seem pretty good with xfire... Mind teaching me a bit?

Um... That all depends.

After 5, almost 6 years of using XFire, I have not once been infected with a virus. However, I've heard stories of people who use the XFire forums (which I never even touch) getting people add them and those people hack their accounts and stuff. They don't do anything major...

With Fraps, it just depends where you get it from.

@Raph : Go to Tools > Options > Games

Then make sure MapleStory is on your installed games list. If it isn't, go to the uninstalled games list and manually add it.

1. Fraps
2. Open the .bmp in Paint
3. Resave as .png or whatever is uploadable.

That's odd.

Try going to the screen shots folder in your XFire folder and see if they still show up black there. If they are, I'll try looking up a fix.

Gah. I can't find anything about it.

Try switching between Window Mode and Full Screen and trying it.

I've never heard of this issue. The only instance of it I can find is where the XFire staff disabled a certain game's screen shots, making them all black.

It works with windowed mode! Thanks man!

No problem. I'm glad I could be of assistance.
