Corn Wrote:Just had an aggravating TWO HOUR game. We just kept on going back and forth...back and forth...this idiot Vlad was calling us noob.....I had the 2nd most kills in our team and least deaths....I had like, all of my end build gear....but damn that Vlad....he killed me, called me noob, I killed him, said "Boom Headshot." Goddammit.

That Vlad must have been a complete moron if he didn't pool to avoid your ult. It's not like it's discrete or anything, it's like "HEY HI YEAH I AM AIMING AT YOU GOOD SIR PLEASE DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO DODGE THIS ATTACK"

Swear to god, my best matches are always losses.

Check the items. Warmogs everywhere. And Karthus. Oy.
I don't know what worries me more, the Rabadon's-stacking Karthus or the Rylai's-stacking Katarina.

Karthus by a long shot.

A word about their items though.... Fully procced Archangel Staves give more AP than a second Rabadon's does (and right around the same for a 20 stack Mejai's), and the passive effect on Rylai's does not stack. If she just wanted AP and HP items, then Rod of Ages would be the better alternative, even if she doesn't benefit from mana.
So... was his 1124 ap a good thing or a bad thing?

You could nuke pretty well with that much ap providing opponents dont have magic def stuff, but id assume you'd be really squishy.

He had a well stacked Mejai's. Sold it. He had a fully charged RoA. Sold it. Tanky Kat was a pain in the ass. I didn't do enough damage with all my armor items, and my team sucked it against her. And Blitz left. pineapplein Blitz.

Karthus didn't hurt me much, but the rest of my team was another story.
This is definitely not my day, of 4 matches I lost 3, one because everyone but me disconected, one more because one guy was just fooling around killing monsters, the last one was fair game.
Same thing, Solar. I just lost 2 more games, one was a 5v5 that was exhausting 1+ hours. We had 1 noob, though. Went 11-8-11, attempted to carry the whole team but failed. I had all 6 of my equipment filled with endgame crap.

The game I just played I went 7-2-6. One player dced in the beginning, so it was a 4v5 from the start, and our Renekton fed them like crazy. They had like 3 tanks, though, and I only got Chalice-Berzerker Greaves (yes Ray, I'm sticking with this =D)- BloodThirster-Blood Cleaver-Last Whisper. We decided to surrender before I could get Madred's Bloodrazer, that would've killed them. I didn't even get my Win of the Day yet T_T.

I've decided I'm going to main Caitlyn. I probably won't be able to pull her off at higher levels, but I never really find myself dieing since I'm a platypus and stay behind the crowds. She does crazy damage with all of her endgame equipment, though...
Just fooled around with nasus on the EU server, was fun.
9-9-22.
Gotta say tho that 5 of the deaths were us fooling around, the enemy was rocking us early game and lategame we just flipped the table and aced them 6 times in a row with no deaths, so i went for a crazy build and ended at 500 movespeed and just kept rushing to their base and letting them hunt me around for a minute before i died. Did this while team was pushing/baroning/dragoning btw.
But was fun.
Our anivia had 1k AP ~.~

Edit: Gotta say the buff to nasus' Q can be felt, i normally end with maybe 140~150 bonus damage on it in a decent game, ended this with almost 300 Wink
That + triforce + my 2 phantom dancers = killing their squishies in 2 Qs.
Me and my friends had a 3v3 just now which ended with us surrendering.

Olaf, Trydamere and Nunu. We were doing quite well against them at the start but they started realising they werent getting anywhere and all 3 of them came to bottom where Morgana(me) and Caitlyn(my friend) were, and just kept pushing us to the point where we gave up.

We did have a successful game where the opposite team surrendered but i cant remember much about it lol.
Trynd is OP in 3v3 :/
That's just how it is, trynd + taric + mundo = most feared combo IMO.

if you insist on being bad, ok

Attack speed is a useless stat, I showed you that in our practice game when my attack speed was 0.1 less than yours without Berserker Greaves. Chalice at best doubles your like, 15 mana regen every five seconds to 30 if you're missing all your mana.

Caitlyn's being rotated out of free on Tuesday anyway.
Attack speed bonuses scales off of your champion's base attack speed. Beserker Greaves are terribad on champions like Caitlyn because they have low base attack speed, but are viable on other champions whose attack speeds reach 1 or thereabouts at level 18.

Barring that crap, the real reason why attack speed isn't so great is because most of the time if you're engaging someone, you believe you'll win and kill/chase the person out of lane or whatever that person is doing. What ends up happening is that the person you're trying to chase ends up running, and your effective attack speed and thus your effective DPS drops considerably, scaling much more on the difference of movement speed between you and your target. A move speed difference of 5 pretty much means you'll be doing one hit per every 15 seconds, while a move speed difference of 70 will let you have 5 hits per 6 seconds.

Put in a different perspective, it pays to realize that there's no such thing as strafing or moving while attacking with default champion attacks. Hell, there's not very many spells and abilities that let you do that (and the ones that do are instantaneous). You spend about .5 seconds attacking, 3 seconds catching up, and another .5 seconds attacking, etc. All that attack speed you're investing in doesn't work, because you can't possibly attack that person during the time you're trying to catch up to him.

Building attack damage instead of attack speed doesn't solve the problem of needing to catch up to the person, but your effective DPS is higher because you hit harder with your attacks instead of attacking more often. Same thing can be said of critical strike chance (but I'm finding it to be difficult to justify why it's so expensive since this patch, damage point per damage point).

Finally got another win. Destroying the Nexus is easy as hell with Tristana.
God damn, played a round and had a griefing Kayle who ruined the game, fortunately we had a good Warwick and Rammus combo so I could compliment them as Vlad and came through with the win. Fuc'king ridiculous.

In short, AD wins over attack speed most of the time.

It's best to have lots and lots of ad items then get one attack speed item.

Better yet, just get black cleaver and you're pretty much set.
8 defeats in my last nine games. 4 Lux games, 5 Gragas. The victory was a negative K/D and only two of the defeats saw me with a negative K/D. Soul crushing.

Yeah that's one reason I don't play rammus much anymore.

It's hard to carry with tanks and support.

Best way to carry bad players is by using a really good AD or Ap carry.

Corki's next on my list. Hard as hell carry ftw! Or maybe Katarina. These decisions are so hard.
Lux is pretty entertaining though. I'm over my initial skepticism of her.
