ElectricSix Wrote:wall of text about livestreaming

Pendragon, Phreak, Kismet, Udyr, Tamat, and that one CS girl whose name I'm forgetting atm at one point or another streamed quite liberally. If the facts about the case are what I think they were, there wasn't a whole lot they could have done about the bad apple since they weren't very secure about their stuff, as he was streaming in the office during non-work hours.

Now that will all change.

Unleashing Wrote:[Nasus] didnt get a lot of buffs but he is now that champion with the most base move speed, is he not?

What? Master Yi and Irelia are tied at 330 MS. And there's a few other champions with 325 MS, such as Jax and Katarina.

Eddikins Wrote:Im so much better against bots than real players its quite saddening.

Actually it would be sadder if you did consistently much better against real players, as Matchmaking is supposed to give you opponents of equal skill or thereabouts. Also, difficulty and skill in normal games is pretty much all relative anyways. You'll find people that claim to be "pro" at many levels of skill.

Playing HoN makes me switch stuff around Rolleyes
He's still fast tho, and i just hope for him to get a last small buff so he's top tier Biggrin
Considering I just learned how to play and still suck, not sure how I feel about this:

Well, at least they're attempting to construct a more "advanced" tutorial =/

Personally I'm not having too much faith when I see Soraka Bot simply freeze and stand there whenever she's attacking you, or when bots go back and forth in tower range on bottom lane. But I'll reserve judgment until I see how it really performs.

ohoho when the bots freeze i take it as a free kill..

Im interested to see how much more of a challenge bots will provide, but im already scared as hell whenever i see Ryze Bot, and thats on [New Player] Level :l
I have a question about champion buying, if some of them are free to play, then why are they available for buying too? collecting?
Darkmaniak Wrote:I have a question about champion buying, if some of them are free to play, then why are they available for buying too? collecting?

Every week (Tuesdays usually) 10 different champions become free for anyone to try, and only those 10. Buying a champion allows you to play that champ anytime you want, provided no one else on your team picked it first. Or in the case of Ranked mode, only if that champ isn't banned and no one else has picked before you have (or you can swap).

So if you're enjoying Veigar and want to faceroll with him to lvl 30, you won't be enjoying him once the next weekly free champion rotation comes around, unless you shell out some IP for him.
Anyone up for a game right now? I has nothing to do ;-;
Only if you're on the US servers >_> It's MaltheoUS right?
Yea it is, i'm online right now.

Farm more.

At least it's better than the one we had. 7-7 makes that look good.
Hmmm...what happened there? Teams looked pretty even.
WillDaSnail Wrote:Didn't know he was a tank. :f6:

So did anyone try out the new champion, Renekton?

Been playing him a few games whenever I can.

Loooving him.

He's really fun to play and IMO he's balanced, though his Q could use a minor buff and they did say they're buffing the lifesteal on it
Two very good consecutive Lux games. This is going to go to my head.
Just played a custom with Ray. He...tried to teach me everything I needed to know. Except I learned basically what I needed to learn yesterday or the day before. So he basically didn't change my mind on anything except to buy the cooldown boots instead of the fast weapon attack boots.

Depends on the character.

Attack speed boots are usually a bad choice overall for most chars.
Well I'm finally getting around to playing with real people Kaj. Tongue I really like Master Yi, in spite of his fragile nature, so I picked up a dps guide for him. Seems to work pretty well, albeit he's uber easy to kill if focused.

Anyway, I had a pretty terrible 1st game. I was lagging for a bit and we had a Shaco who dced early game. After that it was mostly just us struggling to stem their advance. We were able to push them back a few times, but in the end the combination of item + levels + an extra person were just too much. We did stick to it til the end though.

Second started out slow, and not the best, but I got some early kills in, and only a few deaths. I managed to kill their Yi a few times, and generally one on one, I think he killed me maybe once late game after I was out of mana. Never let my kills drop below my deaths, but I still could have done better. I imagine I'll get better with practice, but I don't want to get too attached to Yi given the many other champion choices out there. I also wasted an ult a couple of times, and was focused on early on in one team fight so I didn't do much before I died. I made up for it later game though, pushing mid while the rest pushed bottom, and scoring and helping score some fairly important kills. All in all, not a bad first day of real playing. Tongue

Yi sneaking around to kill undefended turrets in a 4v5 situation is about the only thing that can be done. Good call.
A Yi tip I wish the guy I was playing with earlier today knew: Alpha strike can go to an enemy champ even if you target a minion, but then you won't fly into the champ at the end. Good way to harass in the early game when there's a few minions around.
Really amusing game, with my friend being a huge troll.

Top lane, it was Irelia (me) and Mundo vs. Blitzcrank and Lanewick. Mundo gets pulled instantly, but he stayed and fought like a man and I helped him out. Make WW go real low, then it was pot shots until they engaged on Mundo and killed him. Split second later, I E WW and he dies, and ghost away! Blitz and I were low. He somehow hooked me through my melee minions and did his combo, but I wasn't dead so I E him, stun him, and pegged him to death with some W. Managed to escape from minion fire with 25 HP left. Before I could recall though, WW comes back and charges right into my bush. More E. Ran, healed a bit from hitting minions, then Mundo shows up and tries to ice WW. Mundo dies again, but I jumped into the action right after WW used his Hungering Strike (which would kill me) and E his ass for the third kill.

Shyt happens, Ezreal (my friend) gets a kill with his ultimate. He then scores 4 more, then says "afk I'ma speed eat dinner really fast". It became tower defense for us in a hurry, and everyone hated my ass, which was okay because Irelia lifesteals like a mofo with R. Then my friend came back without saying anything during a team fight, proceeds to get a triple kill, and get up to legendary.

Irelia: 6/0/5
Ezreal: 10/0/2

That's about time! =P
