Wandering Son - 2 - Yeah, Im dropping this one. Its annoying trying to figure out whos who, and im getting tired of the bland and washed color design of the series.
Fractale - 2 - Intriguing.
IS - 3 - Dat ass indeed. This is either going to be a good harem comedy, or a show filled with a gay guy and a lot of girls who think he is straight.
Yumekui Merry - 3 - Learned some stuff, and hopefully we learn more in the next episode. Personally, I dont know what I think about Merry's eyes...

Madoka Magica 3: I was not expecting that to happen so soon, but based on the next episode's title I agree that a miracle will probably happen.
Fractale 2: I like the setting of the story and how they slowly reveal the truth about the world they live in through the characters' lives. The idiot trio of bad guys is also entertaining and something I haven't seen in a while.
Hourou Musuko 2: The characters and their relationships with each other can get confusing, but I like how they decided to started late in the story and reveal past information only as necessary because it will only be 11 episodes. I really like the watercolor, shiny art style as well.

Madoka 3: Kinda wish I hadn't spoiled that for myself. Oh well. So many little Faustian pimentos in this show. Like... 2 of them. The art style of the characters is starting to bug me, but at the same time, every other stylistic element of this show is top notch. Music especially.
I was wondering how Fractale 2 wasn't on Funimation, got my answer:

Seems so counter productive. These shows get fansubbed. It will happen. So yanking a source of ad revenue is so unbearably stupid. I've been enjoying doing most of my Noitamina viewing on Funimation's site.
Have I mentioned the art for this show is awesome?

You don't like Ume sensei's cuteness?!
I know, this show lacks wideface. Maybe there will be more wideface later!
Also, for anyone that's interested in whether or not Urobuchi can actually write a story with a pure and simple happy end, he did write something rather interesting in the postface for Fate/Zero.

On average, it looks all right. But there are shining moments of QUALITY derp face that I feel is not the fault of production values given how much goes into backgrounds etc, but is the fault of the character's art style. I do like the actual character designs. Hell, I think Madoka looked better with a single pony tail in the hot chocolate scene.
This may also quality as the most depressing critique I've ever written about anything. I should not care this much about something so trivial. I feel like Comic Store Guy.

Yeah, the derp and lack of general quality can no way be attributed to SHAFT. All the shows they produce are of extraordinary caliber, with no artistic flaws in animation.

I think I can finally recognize everyone. I found this episode a little boring but it wasn't too bad, I guess. I just want to see more cross dressing and drama.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica 03:
Infinite Stratos 03:
It's pretty cool that they can summon any part of an IS at any give moment. Rin is cute. Dat fang, pigtails, etc.

Yuri Seijin Naoko - OVA 1 - What in the hell did I watch? Would love if this got made into a series, even for a single season.
Freezing - 3 - Well, thats interesting. I really did think the show was going kinda meh with the episode before, but this just poked my interests a bit. Major turn, Kazuya pulled out some interesting stops in this one, and it really seems Bridgette is putting on an act of badassery. But I will say, the sexual assault didnt need to go that far, but if this was supposed to be a comedy of some sort, i wouldnt balk about it (if it had funny bits and what not).
Babypenis - 3 - An "eh" episode, with some good parts here and there. Also;
I approve.
