Yes yes... only this time instead of splitting the events in several smaller patches they took care of it altogether.

Well it's nice to see they're combining two patches together for one mega soon-to-be bug filled patch.
LHC + UA is always a major plus from me.

Patches are going to be adding more to save time later.

This actually makes tons of sense. I actually like it. I would rather have HUGE patches with TONS of crap to do instead of being pressed for time on what to do and not to do. Plus now it actually makes sense why Masteria was stopped being developed. Being pressed for time for a patch WOULD make it hard to make content. I feel like this will be success allowing more time for things to be fixed and less to be broken. Kudos NEXON!

There's still going to be problems, and I doubt that's why Masteria had to be postponed/scrapped, they could have still released the content in just about any decent amount, but they didn't.

On the highest peak of El Nath sits an ancient castle that has been hidden by snow. This Spring the snow will melt and reveal two new raids! The Von Leon expedition is for players level 120 and above in groups of six to 20 members. Defeating Von Leon will net you medals that can be traded in for a sweet set of gear. There will also be a new type of raid for players level 70 and above that does not require a party to join!

That last line is extremely disturbing to read. I seriously hope that is a type-o, because that could mean only one thing... they nerfed Lionheart castle... I'm now curious as why it's being called Lion King's Castle.

We have three months to wait for it I guess... until then, keep fingers, toes, eyes, and whatever else you can, crossed because we all know how Nexon likes to pull the rug out from under us... (points harshly at Neo-City)

As for the lack of content... wow... what an excuse... either they lack teamwork or personnel in numbers for this to be brought up... I would strangely feel like it's both plus incompetence somewhere mixed in...

And another thing about the 3 to 4 month wait... yeah... I don't see this being possible as we all know how fast the hackers work nowadays. Last time they did this, by the end of month two the hackers were everywhere and unstoppable.

The only thing I like about this, is that now I'll avoid the regular frustration of trying to patch maple each month and just have a big frustration per season.

Well, I guess looking at the bright side, I won't have to waste a day of not doing anything every month for a stupid patch. Now its 3 months....

And for anyone who's upset about not getting lion heart castle earlier, come on? You really thought that we would get it even though we never get any content besides events during this time? Putting a bit of too much hope in Nexon's "caring" of people's need instead of believing reality will always cause disappointment.

I called it in one of the other threads that LHC wouldn't be out till at least march, maybe I should revise my guess to april now.

Nexon wouldn't do that. Not because they care about high level needs, it's because no other version got a nerfed LHC and I doubt Nexon's programmers would actually know what they would be doing with the way they do things >_> Plus they would be lazy to change anything anyway. Why waste effort when you can just copy and paste?

These are two different things. Nexon will not nerf Lion King Castle in the way you're saying. Yeti and anything pass that are level 110 and up.

Although, I definitely agree with your point on the hackers. That's one thing that has me upset at this change. It's pretty much the exact same thing except now we don't have to patch so often and Nexon doesn't have to take down servers all the time. In my opinion, this is a plus.

They ran out of ideas.

Hey, brilliant Nexon! Can you tell us what the players above 140 will do until we get the goddam lionheart castle(gey name version) in the goddam SPRING? I know i'm not one of them, but please give some love to your most loyal players :O

That's even assuming they put in the entire castle and not just the boss fight as the blog seems to imply...

Meanwhile, Nexon says, high level players can:
1) Kill whatever free-spawning boss (anego, pianus, samurai, tengu, toad) you can catch. Good luck with that :trollface.jpg
2) Solo Pap twice daily. Hey, 1% is better than nothing.
3) Solo Zakum twice daily. Of course there are only 3 channels per server to do it on, so only about 50 people can actually get to do this, but what do we at Nexon care?
4) Solo Bodyguard A, Bodyguard B, and Grandpa boss once daily. If you're high enough level and can get ahold of anego's comb (see 1).
5) Kill HT, if you're one of the first 30 to attempt this after a maintenance, and are strong enough to solo and rich enough for wheels (we at Nexon appreciate your $$).
6) Kill Chaos Zakum. You get a choice between doing it in a party for less experience, or solo for more wheels ($$$ again, yum). Only one channel per server, btw.
7) Kill Chaos HT and/or PB. Yeah, not quite feasible for everyone who now lacks a training area...

What if you're a class not made for bossing? Or don't enjoy it? Or can't find a channel? Too bad. You can try training at your old hunting grounds, skeles or ToT. Yeah, the exp sucks now, but 2%/hour will still level you... eventually... might even gain two levels by Spring if you're dedicated enough...

And oh yeah, while you're waiting, why not cube your gear? You know, so when you do get something to train on, you can demolish it? Buy some NX today!

Why do you say that? Because they didn't mention that bug fix? They didn't mention ANY bug fixes. So don't get your hopes down.

I actually am hoping I'm wrong about them nerfing Lionheart castle... like you have no idea how bad I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Though in all seriousness... this would be a major upset that would trump the letdown Neo-City was in regards to Neo-Tokyo.

Why do you say that? Because they didn't mention that bug fix? They didn't mention ANY bug fixes. So don't get your hopes down.

They did say they will only fix bugs that are major enough to justify taking the time to create and test an "emergency patch" in between the regularly scheduled ones.

I think we can safely assume that whatever bugs we have now, will stay until April. If they knew about them and didn't fix them in this last patch, they surely don't consider them "major" enough for a patch of their own.

And people will still be pissed no matter what NEXON does or doesn't do. My relationship with NEXON is nothing more than optimistic and then a talk when need be. I'm happy with what I see. I stay optimistic about content I love, I read this and am pleased, I like the plan of action, and I'm not impatient for content unless its just useless.(Like last years anniversary).
