i just saw the "refer a friend" event. you get 200 maplepoints when your friend joins and 5000 when he reach lvl 20. so i thought, why not refer myself, make accounts, get them to lvl 20 and get 5200 maplepoints, 2 vip rocks, 2 smegas and a mushroom hat? getting to lvl 20 with a pure str warrior is piece of cake, considering i can give him my wg and buy him pots and weapons...

I figure a quick ip check would likely kill this plan.

Course that policy would be bad if someone actually shared a connection with a friend.

Yes, imagine someone that's sharehousing and therefore, using the same connection, one referred their housemate...

What are you going to do with the 2 smegas, 2 rocks, and mushroom hat anyways on an account you're not even going to use? There's a limit of 5, and this takes way too long to be worth the 5200 maple points anyways.

Training 3 level 20s to get +16 use slots on my Assassin (i have maple points from prev. event so 15600 puts it over 16k) is near worth it >_> I don't really have NX in my budget right now, but I can play MS in my free time. 16 slots might not be much for some classes, but it's extra training time for an Assassin.

Mushroom hat & rocks are useless but I'm sure I can do... something with the smegas :p

You can EASILY get 2k Maple Points out of this for free after the first month passes by. That means a FM store for me regardless of what else I do/how far I go with the lvl 20+ characters.

A level 20 character takes...maybe 4 hours? It isn't that hard. Heck, you could even have it leech off one of your others if you wanted to (and you were training where it would work or something). :X

And yea, the potential of 52k NX is definitly worth it to me. I'll finally be able to APQ. I might reset a few DEX points as well. Big Grin

If the idea of making $1.25/hr (5k Maple Points / 4 hours) sounds great to you, then by all means do it. For me, that time is better spent elsewhere, like at a job that makes more than six times that much money per hour.

Thats rather rediculous speaking where not talking about real money? Thats like saying why train at wolf spiders when you could just buy mesos. =\

I'm thinking about doing this. I'll see if I can get a friend and we both do it.

Fiel, I'm a junior in high school. There's no way I can fit some kind of part time job in right now, and even then I have a list of things that I'd rather buy with real money then this. I'm sitting with around a hundred bucks, but I prefer to keep it for video games and stuff.

Besides, the way I look at it, this means free marriage which is free APQ meaning free profit. ^_^

my thoughts exactly, but i get the best of both worlds :S late nights without getting sleepy, low cost of living, and a job that pays 100 dollars a day when i work, i might have to fund some gacha runs and an store permit.
