I've never seen a rabidly defensive Nintendo fanboy.
That's probably because all of Nintendo's fanboys are 6, though.

How about you all just shut the nigger up.
Don't like it? Don't tell other people they suck for liking it.
Vice versa.
I really want Paper Mario 3, getting the 3DS whenever that comes out.

Ok Mr. Fanboy, we get it. Too bad GCN was a pretty freaking terrible console regardless. It started off too strong and only went downhill from there, so using that kind of analogy isn't exactly the best thing to do.

About bloody time.
Quote:• Stereo cameras that enable users to take 3D photos that can be viewed instantly on the 3D screen.
Interesting... 3D nudes anyone?
Quote:• StreetPass, a feature that lets Nintendo 3DS exchange data automatically with other Nintendo 3DS systems within range, even in sleep mode once this feature is activated by the user. Data for multiple games can be exchanged simultaneously.
Wasn't this planned for DS originally? Either way it's a nice feature... especially for Pokemon trainers (if used well).
Quote:• System Transfer which enable users to transfer already purchased software from one Nintendo 3DS system to another. DSiWare purchased for the Nintendo DSi or the Nintendo DSi XL can also be transferred into a Nintendo 3DS system.**
Oh awesome, DSiWare consumers weren't fucked over... all the way at least. Wonder how limited they are.
Quote:Recommended distance of wireless communication is within 98.4 feet. This can be shorter depending on the environmental situation. WPA and WPA2 are marks of the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Finally, done with WEP.
Quote:Battery Duration: When playing Nintendo 3DS software about 3-5 hours. When playing Nintendo DS software about 5-8 hours. Battery duration differs depending on the brightness setting of the screen. The information regarding battery duration is a rough standard. It can be shorter depending on what functions of the Nintendo 3DS system are used.
Eh.......
Also, apparently 3DS Game Carts can hold up to 8GB?

Street Transfer is the sexiest thing of all time. Having to keep a specific game in sleep mode and HOPING to pass someone with that game also in sleep mode was so annoying. I tried it with DQIX once. Got nothing.

I think that specific feature is mostly directed to Japan
It'd be awesome if it really was like that everywhere

It will be most useful there but in America it will greatly increase the chances of finding someone with a common game, as all you'll need is the DS and that games data in your DS, rather than the actual game needing to be loaded and in sleep mode. Just need to be around people with the 3DS, which is infinitely less daunting than finding someone that meets all of the necessary requirements that I just mentioned.
Also I meant StreetPass, for the record.

Someone was playing the wrong games.
You've obviously never played good GCN games, like... Gotcha Force.

Or Metroid Prime and Echos
Or Wind Waker
Or Twilight Princess
Or Ookami
Or Super Smash Bros. Melee
There were a ton of good games on the Game Cube... Far moe than there is on the Wii.

Half of those ARE wii games. And Okami is a PS2 game that was ported to the Wii which invalidates it doubly.

Wait what?
Metroid Prime and Echos were only ported to the Wii in a trilogy package
Wind Waker - GCN only
Twilight Princess - Originally GCN Only -- ported to the Wii upon release.
Ookami - I KNOW there is a game for the Game Cube. I've borrowed it from a friend once.
Melee - Obviously GCN.

You must be mistaking OKAMI for something else. There is no game called Ookami and Okami is PS2 and Wii only. Not GC. At all. Ever.

Yeah... I'm confused. I swear I've borrowed it for the Game Cube, long before the Wii came out.
By the way
Ōkami = Ookami = 狼 = wolf

Metroid Primes are better with Wii controls.
Twilight Princess was released simultaeneously on both consoles in Japan and ALMOST A MONTH LATER on the GCN in the US. And it's better on the Wii.
Okami is a PS2 game.
Not really trying to argue that the GCN had some gems, but a lot of the Nintendo made ones were bested by Wii re-makes. Even some third party games, like RE4, had the same treatment.

Tales of Symphonia was much better than the sequel on the Wii.
