This is not a joke, and unfortunately because it will be taken as such I am forced to post this in this forum.

Aliens exist, and some of them want us exterminated. There is a debate in the galactic community whether or not our species should be given a chance at the wider view of the cosmos and if our kind could handle the revelation of extra-stellar lifeforms; whether our race is too primitive and/or too bound by illogical notions of religion to be able to peacefully handle the exposure to life outside of the stars; or if our kind is too dangerous that, should we attain space flight and interact with the galactic community at large, that we'd wage war to dominate it.

There are also many talks about our population, in that is our current population total going to be an issue soon with overpopulation and a rapid decline of usable materials; whether inter-species breeding would be feasible, or profitable; and whether or not our current level of population would be able to successfully integrate with the galactic community.

I am spreading this message as I have been chosen by an envoy of the greater galactic council to gather as much usable information to present to them, and to give them my opinion on this matter. I am turning to you all here to seek your input, that I may give it to ambassador for his review. Please, for the future of humanity, what are your views in this situation?

This is foolish as it assume that life must start on planets. The current species that heads the council can trace it's origins to a network of asteroids. Though different in physical appearance, they share a near-identical genetic structure.

Please, friends, think of the bigger picture. I am giving you a chance to speak out for the better fate and advancement of humanity, on a galactic scale! Please, don't let cynicism and apathy delude you to this fantastic opportunity.
