Acer aspire AM1201 Stuck at start up

So I liek to use my bros computer to search stuff, and post on southperry/ browse threads, since it is much faster then my computer (that gets VPU errors and viruses. ), and when I turn it on, it stays at that part where it shows that underline on the blacnk screen. I think I'll just try to get lucky trying to turn it on, but how do I turn it off? I see no reset button, and don't know if holding down the button will turn it off, or damage the com.

Anyone know what I can do?

If your computer isnt starting up or is cycling (meaning it shows the loading screen, reboots, loading screen, reboots etc etc) power off the machine by either holding the power button or... as a last resort pull the battery out.

If it continues cycling, you will have to try to either repair the OS by using the operating system disc and entering repair mode, or completely reinstalling the operating system.
