Masteria update !?!?!?!!?

In one of those blog things, Nexon stated they are releasing "Exclusive Content" on/near the anniversary patch.

Masteria folder + promised exclusive update =?

The point is that he went and asked them for permission to use their IP and expected to receive a yes. Do you honstly think NKR\AS would respond differently?

Oh you meant Intelectual Property, I thought you meant Internet Protocol (which didn't make sense to me therefore my elaborated response) sorry for my confusion, but yes I belive they would allow the use of their content as far as he labeled as such and didn't make profit from it, but as you said before "they refused until they further discuss the case with his lawyer. " most likely to clear things up so what he was doing didn't end in private servers which I guess he didn't bother to since it would have cost him money on a lawyer for something he provides for free.

I know a lot of people had problems with the alien event but it was a really epic event. If it was handled just a LITTLE bit better it would have been one of the best events ever. They never called cake vs pie content though0.o. IF they bring back the alien pq with all the levels open it could possibly be the best event pq that became a perm pq.

I completely agree. JMS had it too, it was great xD Too bad I fell in love with one of the NPCs (which 90% of you know). Dang, I hope EMS gets it too. *likely a few months after dual blade*. Too bad the "permanent" version is lvl 120 (guess they removed it in GMS, like they did in JMS and ThMS(?)), and none of my characters EVER got up to 120... time to train my chief bandit... *unless she's good for the event*

Oh don't get me wrong, i loved the event! I enjoyed the pq very much! (i got like 23 chairs to prove that i liked it xD I farmed so many items and made a nice 600 mil off everything in total, still kept the ring i got =P That 600 mil helped me buy a very nice VIP xbow since I could never have finished the 120+ pq )

But thats the thing, it was an event. I know the VIP weapons are overpowered and really shouldn't have been made in the first place (Like come on, these weapons make timeless and reverse useless, and are even maginally better than the 130 weapons. Plus the fact that they are statless just breaks all boundaries of fairness) I don't know if the pq is suppose to still be here since we mostly copied over jms files and knowing nexon they just forgot to put the npc back in (we still have the quest for the pq when you hit 120 in the quest window, go check if you don't believe me).

I wouldn't even mind if the pq got nerfed a bit and they stopped dropping VIP weapons. Hell, if they made it so the 120+ pq dropped all leveled alien earrings, ring, and belt I can bet a ton of people would still do the pq. (maybe the necklace but with MoN being available to everyone I don't think the necklace has much purpose)

I really want exclusive content thats not just "hey guys this is just for you! But you guys only will have fun for a limited amount of time since ITS AN EVENT" And swordy, as much as I want to believe that masteria is making a come back (believe me, I've done every quest in that area on all my characters. I just love everything about, the epic storyline, the way that doing quests actually pay off, such as getting perks like skipping the jump quest and being able to lead cwkpqs and being able to skip the forest with the jack's map) I won't get my hopes up anymore. Nexon has crushed them too many times

Visitor event was a big thing. It might have had some weak points, but it is clear that quite a lot of effort was put into it, both the design and the programming. Maps, mobs, quests, items, new mechanisms, and so on. That was worthy of the name "content", 100% exclusive or not.

Cake vs. Pie was just a tiny idea, hastily implemented, flopping badly.

Yet both of these were equally hyped as "exclusive event".
So when Nexon promises us new exclusive content, we really don't know whether it's going to be something as elaborate as the Visitor event, or something as pitiful as Cake vs. Pie. And of course we have no idea whether it will be Masteria or not. There's really no reason to let that bit in the interview get anyone's hopes up.

TWEAK THE VIP ITEMS! Seriously NEXON AM should have known better than that. I say put stat requirements on them and re-relase the pq but make the boss drop more than one. I always hated that -.- I completed 120 pq ONCE and the boss just drops a chair. I got pissed>.> Am I going to hold my breath on Masteria content? Nah probably not.My hopeo-meter went up when I saw those new statues on the website and shortly after saying theres exclusive content. While the word is tossed around loosely with NEXON a small little candle still burns for me. Plus Cristin said something that symbolizes GMS which kinda made me go "What?":f6: Your right about the not getting your hopes up but nothing wrong with putting it on the side just in case

Oh! On that note there was something I've noticed. It may have been there all along and I just didn't pay enough attention but anyway. On the map with I.AM.ROBOT. theres a giant beanstalk, which I don't recall(and on aside note it's not in the background it's infront of the screen like its a ladder) seeing, which looks a lot like the Vineland beanstalk. And on the map Krakian Jungle Basin at the VERY VERY top left theres a pyramid floating in the sky. It's metallic and I know it's been there since Masteria was first opened but since WH and BaM patch it's been glowing.(HINT HINT?) Or has it always been glowing..
