Bodyguard B Ignores Divine Shield

I'm more or less assuming it's because they deal magic damage. What we consider "magic attacks" are actually skills the deal either physical or magical damage. It seems like Divine Shield only blocks attacks that deal physical damage, both touch and skills. Dark Link tested those mobs previously and they would be blocked every few attacks. It's odd really. It could just be a lack of syncronization like damage has been for a while (most noticeable with low level characters).

As for the skill itself, it's suppose to trigger at a 24% chance upon getting hit. The skill then lasts for 60 seconds buffing the player with 34 weapon attack or until the player receives 6 hits. The attack cannot be triggered within 30 seconds of activation. If stuff like Spirit Vikings deal magic damage but would occassionally block and occassionally not, I'm assuming either it's not sync or it's really a bug. Could it be Guardian messing with it? I mean, can Guardian block magic attacks? Maybe its "block" removes a count if that's the case. The numbers you posted that guarded was about 40% of the total time hit. Just a theory.

Magic Attacks do follow a different type of damage formula, but there could be an actual bug with the magic damage than the physical damage.

I'd be shocked if Guardian was messing with it since I had a Zedbug equipped when doing the testing, which means I couldn't have a shield equipped in addition to a 2h weapon.
Also I realized, during my testing today, that even if I have DS up and Guardian procs, it still counts as a "hit" toward DS's count. I had DS up, got hit 2 times, guardian'd the next 3, got hit again, and DS wore off.

In these two pictures, I have the 2h rolling pin equipped and you'll see I get a "Guard" from the magic attacks of a Ghost Pirate and Spirit Viking.

I am simply amazed at this. It seems like it's a bug in general then. There shouldn't be much of a reason that an attack would be guarded once and then not again for the same attack. My last assumption is if the target missed you. If it misses, it would remove a charge anyway, right? Does a miss display "Guard" or does it actually say "Miss" when you avoid? I mean, I highly doubt you'll avoid the monster that much. Ghost pirates have 121 accuracy (sqrt 11) and Bodyguard B has 225 accuracy (sqrt 15). I can't imagine something we'd be missing otherwise. It just seems really buggy.
