Target just made a fcukup and put 60gb ps3s up on amazon/their site for 40 bucks.
I have very little doubt that I will be getting one, but worst case... ill get an email saying that it was a typo.

If you buy now, and they decide not to sell it for 40 and it was a typo, they cant tack a higher price on. They will cancel the order and send you an Email.

I remember that this happened to someone when they bought a Halo Reach Legendary Edition. I pretty sure it was a typo on Amazon's part but according to their policy, he had to get it at that price of when he bought it, and he did. I'm not sure if they changed it by now, or maybe because it was a pre-order but, either way I can cancel it if it goes up in price.

We will see. If Amazon charges me...250 dollars or WHATEVER the price is, I will just raise holy hell. I am a Amazon Prime member and junk... Ill make them listen to me.

Well, anyway it gets sliced I win.

1) I get the PS3 for $60
2) Price goes up, they notify me, I cancel
3) It remains out of stock. No loss, no gain.

Thank ya kindly for this insider info. Went with it so I bet we'll at least get some sort of target store credit when they fail to deliver.

Granted I will need to throw $5 into my account in a hurry so I can cover this though >.>

Bleh, even with Calis taxes and such, 75 bucks for it shipped aint bad. If anything, I can take it and exchange it somewhere, or ebay, or even sell it to someone on campus.

Confirmed on Target's site that they will cancel the order before it ships. It is their policy if the actual price of the item is higher than it is currently listed at as a result of a mispricing.
