Another Advisory for Mechanics

I play in El Nido, I have a Level 13x (well, almost, Level 129 and almost 130) Bowmaster
So basically, all my equips are Bowman =/

BUT!

I also have % DEX equips, which is good, because Mechanics use DEX!

What I have:
- 13 Blessing of Fairy (yes, this counts!)
- 6 Attack WGs
- 2% DEX White Magic Cape
- 4 DEX (Clean) Yellow Snowshoes
- 3% DEX Metal Heart Earrings
- Deputy Star, with 3 STR Potential
- A Z-Helm.. still zrunning for one with above average DEX =/ no luck..
- Also, a Maple Gun, woo?~

Yea, mostly high leveled stuff..

My question to you all, the people of the Southperry, such wise individuals..

Am I good?

I just wanna know if all that random gear is decent for my Mechanic..
I'm actually really not even sure if I'll even play past Level 70, I wanna see how I like Mechs.
I KNOW I'll get to 70, but past 70.. as a side-character.. dunno :f6:

Once I get to Level 130, for 13 Blessing, I would like to prepare my Mechanic as best as possible.. so what else can I do?

The beauty of Mechanics (and all resistance characters, for that matter) is that their damage is awesome with even the most basic of gear. If you have all of that stuff just lying around on your bowman and don't have to shell out anything extra, then great. No reason to invest a ton of money into a character you're not even sure you're going to play past 70.

Mmmmm, I guess you're right.

As I'm playing along, I can make my decision as to whether to upgrade if this character actually is enjoyable, past Level 70.

By the way, Maple Gun is pretty terrible. Revolution Gun is a good idea, as well as King Pepe's Shooting Star (no, seriously, it's 40atk clean and faster than maple gun).

I'm guessing the Revolution Gun is extremely powerful for Level 30? And how long will this gun last me?

Till 70? :o

The Revolution Crossbow beats every crossbow from 30 to 64, but the Maple Nishada is superior to it. I'm assuming the same is true for Mechanics.

Same case for Revolution Staff.

Might want to let you know that until you have a good amount of stats, +stat eq in the early levels are more important than +%stat EQ. The usual y=mx+c issue.

That's how good it is. Ends up with 49 w.atk at MAX Lv.

Mine in kMS ended up being the best clean gun until level 80

Who cares? You play in a new server. The odds of anyone being OMGSUPERGODLYYYY are slim to none. From what I've read Mechanics are over powered pieces of hype garbage.

If you make a resistance character now before hte patch and then you could maybe get a box at level 40?

You get a box at 70 with resistance, and apparently that give a machine part (possible set)
