OK but have any of you actually watched the video? You know how split of a second that window is up? You would have to stop it at JUST the right time to see it. And even the first time the screenshot was shown I didn't catch it right away.

Then we learn that's really the file that contains all the work done for CWK. And then most of you will cry, while I'll be going "Knew it"

Not to mention this entire video was satirical if you're in the right mindset, that may have just been Nexon being a bunch of trolls.

Funny how you bolded the word "barely" and your comment doesnt reflect upon the fact that I said a word that implies that they do read their forums- just not often enough for it to matter. And honestly, this whole video is just a show. Its like all the nexon's interviews you see in the media. Everything is skewed, manipulated, and editted to make them look good, whether they are or not.

Barely implies that they read and/or frequent it, but not enough to show any real authority over it. Just because they have loose moderation doesn't mean they don't give a s'hit about it or anything.

And yeah, i agree. This video is nothing but a show. Companies always do this, trying to make themselves look good and stuff, but it's not something we should bash them for because it's not like they're blatently stroking their cocks about it. I think the entire masteria folder was a ploy for hype building and this thread alone is proof of that. This kind of thing happens to often for us to just always assume it was a mistake, and because people do that the community always is portrayed like we're just kids constantly grasping at straws for our own excitement.

That was because the site's code was based on NexonKR's webpage which, to this day, still requires MSIE. NexAM never hated FF/Chrome/whathaveyou, they just copied from the source like they always do. They then went down for a day to fix their code so it would work for Firefox as well as other browsers since Americans tend to use stuff other than MSIE.

Despite South Korea being the global front of eSports, they are the most computer illiterate people you will ever meet. They don't care as much about how fast a computer runs. That's why you see all of these Korean MMOs that can run on just about anything because people there never upgrade their computers. South Koreans feel a desktop computer is limiting since you have to be at home to use it. Also, Koreans tend to prefer PC Bangs (some might prefer to call it a "LAN gaming center") to go play games since it's a lot more social than being at home. They much prefer smartphones which lets them be on the run and keep everything with them. That's why they have 95%+ acceptance rate of smartphones - far more than the United States. In South Korea, if you don't have a smartphone people look at you very weirdly.

As for the Masteria Update. Isn't that Windows 7 I spy? Since when did we get a Masteria Update passed its release date in 2010? I doubt the experience change they did counts as an "update".

Its being in the same directory with "funny animals" leads me to believe the "Masteria Update" folder actually contains lolworthy posts by players hallucinating Masteria updates in every half-uttered word or unfamiliar image.
While I don't know whether they intended for us to freeze-frame that particular image and build piles of speculation on it, I expect at least parts of this thread (and the other one) to make it into that folder.

I think it was just the Masteria rebalancing for the Big Bang.
Not an actual content update. That seems too good to be true.
