How to effectively train at ghost pirates/dt's and so on
#1
Hello fellow pirates, I am like you, in a struggle to hit 120 in order to start papping and killing Zak's arms. I am also like you in the sense of confusion when facing the decision of where to train from 110-120. I have chosen Ludibrium, and if you are like me and have chosen Ludibrium I would like to share my training method with all of you.
This method pretty much ensures a 2HKO on every monster you kill, all you have to do is make sure you don't die to their hard hitting attacks.

It's very simple:
Step 1)Start from the top of the map
Step 2)Choose a side to start
Step 3)Flamethrower once on all monsters on the platform
Step 4)Drop down after 1 Flamethrower(so they burn)
Step 5)Repeat step 3 and 4 until you are at the bottom
Step 6) Tele to the top and finish them off with another flamethrower(the monsters hsould be at 1hp)
Step 7) Switch sides

Also, you can clear the bottom if it's getting too full.
GL FELLOW PIRATES! IF THIS HELPED EVEN ONE PERSON THAN IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
Please don't flame if this was already common sense. haha

Pretty stupid method of training if you ask me. What I'd do is Ice>Flame>Ice the mobs. If you're not afraid of being damaged, leave an octo on a platform, should aggro the monsters so they're mobbed for you - that's good for long platforms (I do that at nest golems). Also, I wouldn't reccomend wide maps - Jumping down>killing>jumping down etc until bottom then use the teleport up and repeat is the method I'd train with, so choose a map that's narrow.

I find Ludi to have the best training spots from 110-120 on a slinger so this method has been working for me. Also I find it much faster to burn>drop>burn>drop then tele back up to finish it off much faster then to freeze>burn>freeze>burn 1 mob at a time. This is particularly good for Ludi, unless you have any alternatives for training spots at 110-120 then i'd have to disagree with you. Although I know later on training at13x+ would usually be freeze>ship>torp my method would become obsolete, but this is a method for those who are in the 110-120 range

Really depends on your attack range. if all you need is 1 fire+freeze, I think it's better.
