Rules
1. The game will cycle between night and day, beginning with Day 0.
2. Days and nights will last around 24 hours (may be longer due to being at school or other issues).
3. The exact details in role and result PMs may not be traded at any point in time. You may choose to reveal results and roleclaim, but you may not quote PMs directly.
4. If you don't want to use your night role, please send a PM to me with the title "Night x - Idling" anyway. This at least shows you're paying attention to the game.
5. Lynch votes must be bolded. No Lynch is an acceptable vote. Please make sure that you unbold obsolete votes. In the event that no one votes, or it comes to a tie, there will be godkill.
6. There are no items in this game.
7. Do not screenshot anything related to the game.
8. Do not talk about the game with or in front of living players while you are dead, unless allowed to by the host. You may still plan with your teammates if you're mafia, but only for the sake of planning strategies. In the event that you do, you may not use any outside information you may have acquired (e.g. contacting a friend, saying "I'm dead now, what's your role?", and then telling others is NOT okay).
9. Do not impersonate other players or me. You may not fake logs, including logs with me.
10. If you have any questions about your role or the game please don't hesitate to contact me. If I'm on IRC I'll be on #southperry. You may also PM me.
11. IRC is restricted only to those who are in the mafia. I will contact you with further information on this if you have a mafia role.
12. The game ends when the number of mafia players is equal to or outnumbers the townpeople, or all mafia players are eliminated.
13. There are 14 players in this game.
14. Priorities are kept secret.
15. The mafia may communicate privately amongst themselves. All other communication must take place in the gameplay thread.
16. There sign up thread will be turned into a discussion thread.
17. I will not provide a list of roles in this game.
It is a normal day at the Generic Industries office. All 14 regular employees are working, some more than others. There's rumors of the boss hiring some people to weed out incompetent employees, but nobody's been fired lately, so they were dismissed.
Day 0 has begun. Once 7 people confirm their presence by posting here, Night 0 will begin.
As you all file into the office in the morning, you find Rob Generic, the son of the owner, looking shaken up.
"The rumors of my father hiring Officers to get rid of some employees are real!" he exclaims. "And they're starting to file reports on people. Which means all of us are at risk of losing our jobs if we keep talking to them unknowingly..."
All of you ponder over what to do, when Kim Sellers suddenly speaks up. "We could vote on one person to shun each day! That way we can figure out who the Officers are, and keep them from learning more about us.
Not knowing what else to do, you all agree. But before you begin, you find the following note crumpled up near the trash can...
Ok a bit of flavour complaints, how does shunning someone reveal their true identity and/or reveal the officers, and how will it get rid of them? And how does Rob Generic know for sure that the rumours are real?

Nothing of value that I can see, just basic plot intro. Julius is the main antagonist, it seems.

If they're an officer: they'll ragequit and it'll be obvious.
If they're an employee: you'll suspect that you failed.
I mean, as far as employee roles being revealed... it's not like when you search someone in any other game you'd find their exact powers out.
