Try doing that without NX. 3'45'' turns into 34'50'' Biggrin

That was pre-Chaos I believe, so the results might be diff this time around over there.

And watch... knowing that Mechs will be "balanced out" in Chaos, I'm betting that all of us will rush out our Mechs to 4th job and beyond for the next 6 monthsish. Big Grin

willing to bet that damage is highly based on the player's potential'ed equips, and has nothing to do with the class itself.

Exactly.

NX = Almighty regardless of some small nerfs or whatever.

Potential has nothing to do with it. Mechanics under similar AP/equipment schemes beat every other class at everything at pretty much all levels and advancements. No class has such a huge advantage over them in one area where they aren't horribly raped by them in everything else. (and the classes who do have an advantage over them in anything is rare) Seriously, how many classes get the kind of skills mechs do at the same levels? In every single advancement they get strong 1v1 and mob skills, along with the most useful party buffs and support skills ever made. Unless they give us post-chaos mechs there is no way mechanics could be anything but overpowered in every way. Why the hell do you think the koreans complained SO MUCH about them that they HAD to nerf them? THAT SHOULD SAY SOMETHING ABOUT IF THEY'RE BALANCED OR NOT.

Conclusion: Mechanics are the perfect class; good mobbing, 1v1 and support skills; Decent survival and mobility; encourages finding new strategies on how to use your skills to train rather than holding down a a hotkey and running around (WILD HUNTER *cough cough*).

LF> Big Bang 2 for all classes except Mechanics.

To be honest..His damage is lackluster at best. How much you wanna bet if he just let his summons attack we would see that TONS of damage comes from the summons alone. I'm willing to bet. Then I could be wrong and he's powerful but that damage is something I see normally out of nls and shadowers.

And NX doesn't provide you with advantages at all!

They are. The same way Nexon's a marvelous company, with a fantastic customer service, GM police and ticket answers. A very helpful company that spends all their time thinking about the best to their players.
.
Ohh, the sarcasm.

In regards to your previous post... DPS, and all that other stuff, has been tested, or else there wouldn't be a joke about this.
In regards to this post... Mechanics have already been nerfed in kMS, which has been stated already in this thread. Your conclusion was quite accurate, though.

Have you seen a Mechanic training? You just hold your "SHOOP DA WHOOP" laser, because it has a ridiculously wide range, that you just need to blast it one or two times to kill a whole mob. It's more likely "Open portal, move, LASER BLAST, move, LASER BLAST more, platform is empty, move to another platform through the portal you opened, more shoop da whooping".
.
At least, Wild Hunters can alternate between their Hurricane, Crossroads, or that Ricochet Skill. Unlike Mechanics, who only have ONE skill by 4th job to use while training.

200% from the tesla coils, 210% for each satellite, 500% damage per bomb-bot (3 bombs every 3 secs). I can't say for sure, but I would guess that's 1/3 of Mechanics damage :f6:

What happened to Rock 'n Shock, Bots 'n Tots, Rocket Booster and Drillhands? Also, the diversity of summons and mobilty skills allows each Mechanic to explore his/her own strategies based on the map layout. New map, new oportunity to find nice places for your summons and portals.

Of course, there's some maps where you can just shoop da whoop left, shoop the whoop right, use portal and repeat. Nexon should nerf Laser Blast max monsters hit down to 3, that would make Punch Launcher a second option for 4th job training (Laser to kill a few mobs, Punch to kill many mobs)

They are better without potentials when compared to other jobs without. It's the same story with.

Adding potential doesnt make the weaker jobs stronger...
