W/e happened to the Odin Trials?

Not it sure if this is allowed (cause it's about P-severs) but I'm curious of the results of that trial.

I think it's allowed. We're not talking about the implementation aspect of a PServer.

There hasn't been a trial yet AFAIK. Last year around this time there wasn't even a hearing. The court system in Germany moves notoriously slow.

Nothing wrong about discussing them, as long the discussion does not reveal any way to make hacks or a private server.

Asking on MSN now, but last I was updated nothing came of it really. Matze and Serp had to hire some expensive lawyer, and it dragged out forever, but there's really no update. They had to pay...something, not sure what, but it wasn't anywhere as big as the amount Nexon demanded.

Edit - From another Odin GM that wasn't to well known outside of the staff (Surtr) that's friend in real life with Matze and Serp:

uhm... nothing really happened for quite some while
I'd have to ask myself, but last information I heard was they had to pay something, but noone really said how much
and well, nothings happening
:I"
I think the last "offer" the nexon lawyers sent was something along the lines of "we will stop arguing over this if you pay an amount we can't say right now but will probably amount to more than our company is actually worth, y/n?"

I hope nothing really happens to those two.

Seriously someone should write about the history of Nexon and the struggle with its users.

This chapter would be named, "The Odin Trials."

Bestseller for sure.
