insane damage 0-0
does a gunslinger's air strike take up 1 bullet like arrow rain takes up 1 arrow?
2008-09-17, 09:12 PM
I guess you mean invisible shot, and yeah invisible shot takes only 1 bullet each attack.
2008-09-17, 09:39 PM
Not that one... The full map attack with the seagulls =P
I would make a gunslinger to bomb people like that xD I assume it uses one... or it could be their one fail safe with no bullet use

In addition to the picture of Spadow's damage that he posted, here's a link to my completely unfunded Infighter's "timeline" of the damage per level-type thing. This should give an idea on what kinds of damage an Infighter can do : http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/785185/...mage.html#

Worthyness Wrote:Not that one... The full map attack with the seagulls =P I don't see why it would use a bullet. You'd think that fake shot would use a bullet, but it doesn't. Air strike just involves waving a flag, no bullets involved whatsoever. If it really did waste a bullet, that's pretty fucking stupid.

Well, Battleship Cannon uses four.
Fake Shot doesn't shoot a bullet, or any projectile for that matter, so it wouldn't consume any.

Russt Wrote:Well, Battleship Cannon uses four. Which is exactly why we can use the same logic for air strike.

Russt Wrote:Does Throwing Bomb use one? Would it matter? Lol. I can probably get the answer really easily, but gunslingers won't use it enough for anyone to care.

I know, but if it uses one, then Air Strike probably uses one, and if it doesn't then AS p robably doesn't.

If you used a grenade in real life, you have one less grenade. If you waved a flag, you'd still have your flag. I realize real life examples are epic fail, but it makes sense...and if it isn't true, then i'll repeat what i said before. "That's pretty fucking stupid."

Logic really doesn't make sense in Maple. Like the arrow rain and eruption of the archers. Technically, if it were a rain of arrows (or arrows coming from the ground) then there should be at least 100 arrows used per animation correct? However, it only utilizes one arrow..
So yeah logic=/=maple xD

I realize and said that logic doesn't make sense in maple. ![]() Like fake shot, with air strike you don't SHOOT anything. It wouldn't make sense even by maples logic for you to use a bullet when you wave a flag now would it? I'm not going to try and justify bomb. Logic doesn't work on something like that. I'll just ask the guys in JMS or wait for shrapnel to answer for me. ![]() By the way, it makes sense for 1 arrow to split into 100 with the use of magic. I'm fairly sure that happens sometimes in fantasy action games and mangas. O_o

Technically you shoot one arrow into the air and 100 fall down (for rain).

Looks fast to me. Also, it's spinning punch that has the charge up time, not double upper. Dusk Wrote:Double Upper is a slow-ass skill and has a cooldown of two seconds (I believe), making it unspammable. You typical funded Assassin or Fighter can outdamage that by far. It's not a ''slow-ass skill'', Double Upper is one of your most important skills during 2nd job and 3rd job. >_> You will use it along with Screw Punch and/or Straight/Somersault Kick/Backspin Blow. I didn't say it wasn't good, I'm just saying comparing 10k Double Upper damage to say, 5k Savage Blow damage is pretty unfair. The only other single target skill you have in 2nd job is Straight. |
