So, it would fall into the Persona universe then? Either way, I really hope they bring this game to the US.

Afaik, in P3P, Catherine's main character says he really hates his wife, and that he's a jerk, etc, etc, and that he'd really want a new life. After that he apologizes for unloading on you and doesn't talk anymore. I guess something paranormal happens to him afterwards.
And I think this isn't the Persona 3 universe. My guess is that Atlus just put it there to see who'd connect the dots.

So, read in the Playstation Magazine, that the story revolves around Vincent, who is dating Katherine. Katherine is pregnant. Now, Vincent cheats on his pregnant girl (Katherine), with the girl Catherine, who by what they said, likes to send sext messages, complete with pics.
The fact that it was shown in the PSM, gives me hope for a US release.
