I'm quitting maplestory and was wondering incase i wanted to come back what i should change all my gear into, i dont want pure mesos coz like if i come back in like 1 year, it may be worthless.

NX Cash is usually a pretty good bet, but I would be paranoid about it expiring. Scrolls which will always be valuable are a safe bet too. GFA 60% is the first that comes to mind, but I'm not sure what else.

Converting meso to cash is fairly straight forward: Invest meso into MTS-able items (scrolls) and sell them in the MTS. No 3rd parties required.

NX or Pink Scrolls, maybe some white scrolls. GFAs 60% are an option too, you'll end up with hundreds of them, but their price seems to never change.

yea think half GFA half pink scrolls, i wont do white scrolls coz of the whole christmas tree issue.
I dont want NX cash coz im afraid it will expire or something.

I wouldn't invest in any item, things come out all the time. 2H 50%s look expensive now but they prob won't be that much when 1H 50% or GM scrolls come out, which may happen while you leave. I would invest in raw mesos, not nx or any items.

NX will hold value best because Nexon has no incentive to devalue it, unlike every ingame item which will eventually become obsolete forcing players to buy more. But it only lasts in an untouched account for 1 year before they remove it all.

Which isn't really that big a deal because you can just "launder" it between accounts if you feel like it's coming close to expiring. Assuming you have a lot, you'll lose very little to taxes.

I realised this game is boring and i was addicted to the gambling side of this game (Cubes, scrolling). And now i play WoW, its cheaper for me and much more fun.

I think i would forget about NX cash : (

keep it all and not worry about it. Screw investing, just keep everything the way it is. That's probably what i'll do when i "quit"
