[1.2.361] Level 140 Items

Maker is split into the Creator and Jeweler professions when Chaos hits.
Creator does armors and weapons, Jeweler does rings, earrings, shoulderpads, etc.

What I don't like is that you need an Alchemist to dissassemble equips for/make Monster Crystals.
On a brighter note, Creators can refine mineral ores and Jewelers can refine jewel/crystal ores.

Okay, does this means you have to train each new classes to lvl 135 to be able to make them?
Since previously, the maker skill mandated that you'd need to be within 5 lvls b4 you're allow to make it?

The Professions work on a different system, as far as I'm aware, but I could be wrong.
I do know that these professions have 10 levels instead of 3 like Maker.

Looks like some of you get proffession and job/class mixed up. This new deal aint got nothing to do with jobs in the old regard, you do not make a new character and advance it to say blacksmith or alchemist You pick proffession on the good old fashion characters. My Nightlord will probably pick Alchemist for example.

Does somebody have a link to a thread/post with info on all the profession jobs? I think I saw it somewhere, but I can't find it anymore, even with a search.
edit: nevermind, I found it. well, sort of. I still don't fully understand it.

Alchemists can create a fish tank thing that they can set wherever they want that lets others (alchemists or not) disassemble equipment for a fee.

Let me guess: the alchemist doesn't get any money from the fee?

My KMS Spearman is a "Equipment Maker" / Blacksmith. The profession functions pretty similarly to the way the current Maker does, except with different recipes. You must learn mining to learn Blacksmithing. Blacksmithing is the only way to make the level 130 equips. Let me know if you have any more specific questions regarding the profession.

I'm wary of derailment and I, too, sorta got info from the extraction thread, but someone said in a different thread (perhaps that Silver Plate thread) that preemptively collecting ores is a waste of time given professions coming out, how does mining work, are there percentages attached to what ores/crystals I am going to get and how long does it take? Everything good seems to require Lidium how pletiful is it?

You can see on this site what ores drop from which rocks, and as you go down the list, the rarer the rocks are. Its actually a good idea to stockpile ores (some of the higher up ones since they get more scarce).

Only the higher levelled ores are worth stockpiling; the cheaper ores like Silver, Opal, and Bronze are much easier to get post-professions.

Maker skill will be removed..

can I say that the crazy dark empress is an excuse to increase the level cap?

I think someone mention that Nexon want to increase the level cap.

Me me me me.... I have one..
What level does your "blacksmith" has to be to make what lvl type of weapons? Any breakdowns? U mentioned lvl 130 eqs, how about lvl 140 ones ?

Raising the maximum level isnt really required..
All that one would need is tactic.

Actually this post was completely wrong, not sure what the answer to this question is.

If you need Mining for Blacksmithing, does that mean you need Herbal-whateversuffixgoeshere for Alchemy? If so, what goes with Jewelry? Mining again?
It is possible to have two crafting professions and no gathering profession?

No, the Meisterville NPC gives you three choices:

Herbalism + Alchemy
Mining + Blacksmithing
Mining + Jewelry

You must learn a gathering profession before you are allowed to learn a producing profession.

Is the "recipe" for the 130 gear available yet?

FrownFrown

I guess my question in simpler term is...

1) Can your spearman make high level eqs (lvl 120 - lvl 140)? (providing you are able to obtain to mine/ gather the required ores)
2) Does a person character's level plays a role which prevent or allow you to make (Eqs of different levels).
E.g. could it be like -->
i) Spearman = only able to make Eqs that are lvl 70 or below (since spearman is level 30-70)
ii) DK = able to make EQs of all levels

3) And finally, is your spearman able to make EQs that are out of your class/ job? (across all classes? or just within Warriors?)
