[EMS] Patch V0.44: Capt Latanica and German Festival Event

Dear Maplers,



We will go through a patch on Thursday, 18 September, 2008 at 2:00 a.m. CET(GMT+2).

The patch will last for approximately 4 hours, and users will not be able to

access the game and the website during that time.

wtp captain latanica. That's the most surprising patch so far.

I hope they wont nerf Latanica like they did to pap.

Captain latanica's barely even equal to Headless Horseman. I wouldn't call a patch that only gives one boss monster that can be beaten in a few minutes even a "so-so" patch :/ this just plain sucks.

They'll better of changing their name to Event MapleStory.

They're probably the version that's doing the poorest right now.

we had lots of exclusive events too, and so does KMS, but they still get content most of the time. EMS has already fallen into the event-repetition groove and HKMS is blazing past even though they're 8 months younger. At this rate EMS will be lucky to make 4th job by Q4 2009, and that's not good for anyone :/

Meh this patch is not that good.

They nerfed it by lowering HP of body 1 and 2 by 50% but keeping the exp same of gMS.

Anyway Isn't this in line with the nerfs to Zakum, Horntail, and Pink Bean from KMS? I bet we can expect to see this change hit other versions soon too :/

well, it's always possible they nerfed Pap (maybe Pianus too?) in KMS several months ago and it somehow just never came to our attention. In fact, I'll go check KMS pap's stats now...

Becaus ewe got it +/- on the time we got 3rd job opened. So they nerfed it for the weaklings
