Post BB Paladin question: BW vs Sword

I've been looking around the internetz for maybe a half hour, and cannot find a reasonable answer to this question.
I've heard that somehow, a Paladin gets 94% mastery with maxed Advanced Charge and Combat Orders. Would this benefit a BW Paladin? Or is the sword still superior...
And lastly, for BW Paladins, is the 40:60 Stab/Slash ratio still there? I suppose what I'm asking is, are both of these weapons still the same story pre and post BB?

2H actually have a small increase in power that's mildly noticeable. There is something I have noticed between 1H and 2H from using a 2H for so long... the overhead swing of the 2H weapons actually can hit things on a platform higher than you if in range.

So if this is true then I suppose Blunt Weapons are completely outclassed by the sword then?

Since BWs are pretty much always one speed slower than swords, yes. Although they do start with a higher base attack.

For Paladins, no matter which you choose, you really should be 1H. Shield mastery and guardian do so much, and 1H is faster and stronger than 2H with a good attack shield.

Also, the range increase Jamie talks about is only for first and second job skills. All Paladin 4th job skills have fixed range.

At Dual Ghost Pirates there is always that one monster left on the platform above. Jump + Overswing always hits it, sometimes even the underswing.

Too bad getting a good attack shield is such a pain. Well unless you want a maple shield.
