Yah I accept you're mostly right, but even after BB and potential there is barely anyone killing Pink Bean even though it's 100 times easier to get into the altair now. However we both are forgetting one thing. The accuracy system. Cygnus and the bosses are lvl 190 and 188 respectively. You'd need a big squad of lvl 19x people and even then I doubt there are enough active ones to kill them, at least, often enough to provide a supply of these items.
But why are we discussing that? Fiel said these items are in the proffesial system didn't he?

Did you forgot how the system works? We may need to get some items from the Cygnus to make these items so i won't be so happy yet.

I hate this argument. The only boss that actually requires a "squad" to beat nowadays is pb and cht. In every other scenario you shouldn't expect to have either of those buffs unless you are friends with one of those classes because that sort of man power is just not needed anymore. Even when it comes to those bosses it's not like buccs are automatic ins anyways.
I'd actually argue if you go out of your way to get those buffs you're doing it wrong.
I'm really not that upset to see new equips requiring secondary stats.
Current equips require such a huge effort to get something decent that seeing them replaced is kind of a downer though.
Also having wattk on everything is just begging for them all to be chaos'd, not liking that.

No no, I guess it came out wrong since I just woke up and I'm a bit lazy with my typing.
I'm saying I'm glad these capes came out to outshadow PACs, because I always thought it was stupid that low leveled gear exists that becomes end-game gear because it's better than anything else that's out. I'm happy that the capes are good, and they even add a boost to your secondary stat without costing you any secondary stat to wear, meaning it'll most likely be essential for wearing the rest of your set, and I believe that's something people are overlooking.
Capes + Potential + Maple Warrior + Chaos Horntail Necklace should break you even for the secondary stat needed to equip these items unless you're statless (in that case you shouldn't even complain, that's the path you chose and you knew that you wouldn't be able to equip everything).
I used the present tense in terms of GMS, but it would have been more accurate for me to say "The fact that low leveled capes dominated all other capes for so long was stupid" to get the message across better.

I can understand the weapons requiring dex/str, that's fair, but not the armor..
What's the point of a set if you need ridicule amounts of base stat just to wear it and you end up with 200+ dex cause of the useless dex bonus on the items <_<
I think that these set should not require any secondary stats, only the weapons should, that's just how i see it anyway.
There is a trick to equipping yourself by using the armors bonus to count towards their being able to keep each other/themselves equipped. Just having a zhelm and a couple pieces of equipment with a high secondary stat will help a lot when it comes to equipping this stuff with out having a super high base stat.
And like +45 w.atk isn't worth it anyway.
Staff still blows sadly.

I always wanted higher level equips, and I thought set bonuses were cool, but it feels like this is some 'be careful of what you wish for' pomegranate. It's not impossible, but it's going to take a lot of effort.

Yeah, I currently use this trick on my Corsair. I don't have enough base secondary stat to wear my stuff, but if I mix and match the pieces I CAN wear a little, I can make it work. It's like a puzzle. It's a bit annoying if I accidentally unequip one item, because then my whole set dies and I have to do it all over from scratch, but it is possible.

Are there any screenshots proving that 121+ items now have the same potential stats as 71+? What would happen to items with 12% 8% 8% after this takes effect, 9/6/6 or same?
No top/bottoms for thieves/warriors and assuming 121+ have same as 71+, that's potentially losing 21% in main stats.
I hope I don't have to choose set equipment over what we have now. Nexon really wants to drain all of our nx from mass cubing again....

At this point will will have shoulder pads. thus far a statless item giving whatever amount of a stat.
The only reason to try and stack secondaries up to these is because having the base secondary at their level then getting the LOL +over 100 secondary stat is sort of a waste.
Ugh, if i'm going to do this i need to find someone who will let me borrow some epic ass luk earring.
But that slow staff... it's just so damn painful.

Seems like they will be fixing something somewhere at some point sometime somehow.
Example : Req Level: 140 | Req INT: 420 | Req LUK: 170
Everything's Level + 30. (It's typically stat = level, or stat = level +#.)
The main issue is the secondary stat boost and the boost the armor gives out. Said boost/bonus can easily give a total of more than 100 of whatever you use. Not statwhoring, just that. Well. Nothing should require that much of a bonus to be worn. The stat boosts from these would let you wear 150+ gear...lol.
Otherwise, these seem like a perfect addition. Yay~ Sets. Unless they are ridiculously rare or hard to get. Then these will be like the Blizzard Set.

Hrmmm, unsure what class you play, but to me as a Brawler since knuckles have 2nd lowest base attack stat, +45 attack is amazing. That's probably worth a good +25% STR or so.

I'm saying as if the +45 attack isnt reason enough to wear this. Not that it isn't enough.
EDIT: need to rant some more at how much hate that every new staff since battle mage is slow 8. oh here's a special 6 speed staff because we know bams use weapon speed. Enjoy getting two staves ever again that make you fast.

me thinks you're forgetting the recent rings that came out with the profession skill. iirc the lvl 120 rings you can craft are 7 or 8 dex, so 3 of those and a lvl 17 ring (or another 8dex'er) would be 28-32added dex, or at least 13 more than you projected, leaving the gap at 8dex.
and even then its still not counting belts which can be scrolled for dex (unless your assuming an immortal pharoes belt chaos'd for atk, but still).
I like this set even though im statless. It'll be just like pre-BB where i scrambled to get common dex gear.
