Hello
I already have a level 12 Citizen waiting to be a mechanic, but I want to know if I get the correct hp/mp.
Can anyone tell me if I get that?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

You might have missed out on very little HP/MP(less than 50HP for sure). But in the long run, you should have about as much HP and MP as a newly made Mechanic.

2 levels won't kill you thanks to Mechanics getting most of the HP/MP boosts from their Mech alone. Also, if I remember correctly they fix your HP/MP amounts if you were overleveled when you advance.

So are you sure I will get the right amount of hp/mp? And how many hp/mp do Mechanics get each level?
LOL I DIED WHILE TYPING THIS MESSAGE

dude. you're level 12. If you are really worried about this, you could easily just i don't know, Remake the character again and leave it at level 10?

Im trying to get mines to 40ish before the event (orbis exchange to 20, KPQ to 30, CPQ free wins to 40+) so that i can avoid the rush at the lower level maps. I think the less headache is worth the slightly less HP/MP, but im still hoping that IllegallySane is right.

Whew.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who made a Citizen that's waiting to be a Mechanic. It has all the etc items needed to complete Mushroom Kingdom/Kerning Square quests.
YEEEAHH~

YEEEAHH~ Good idea!
Mine is at level 17, started it today. I want to get to 30, advance to 1st job, advance to 2nd job, finish Mushroom Kingdom, train at Helmet Pepe's a while, then head off to Kerning Square and CDs.

Wait, if we advance at 30 won't we be missing out on some HP/MP/SP?

I guess people wanna be "ahead" of everyone else, kinda like people making a high-ish level beginner before Pirates came out.
Although the only purpose I can see for doing this, is for the Bandana event in Zenith, El Nido, before it ends.

Ok, I made a WH to test. And I got a hp/mp boost upon Job Advancing. So everyone can just level his Citizen for Mechanics!

Im doing it to avoid the crowding at popular maps. its one thing for the CDs map to be already be crowded, but its going to be even worse when this class gets released. so i at least get a good may 7 hours of training in said maps, if i choose to. (i wont be going to CDs but im just using it as an example is all).

I know you can do this for level 10--> 30+ and you won't miss Skill Points if you don't add them but I thought if you didn't get a job at level 10 you'd miss all the skill points untill you advance to first job. I'm confused on why anybody would do this o_o'

I don't see any point in making a citizen up to 2nd job unless you're being a perma citizen [which i am] I've always had a thing for permas =D

Sigh... the only way to clear this up is to get a Citizen to level 31, then advance to Wild Hunter or Battle Mage. I guess I'll do it in Windia...

Made a lvl 15 Battlemage and a lvl 15 citizen. Battlemage gained around 30hp per level, while the citizen gained around 10 hp per level. Advanced to Battlemage with my citizen at lvl 15, it had 100 hp less than than the lvl 15 Battlemage that did the job advance at lvl 10. 20hp loss per lvl~. No SP loss.

sounds unneccessary to me. Id imagine it to be faster to use the orbis exchange quest. granted its a good ~180 stacks to lvl 31 but i think that'd be faster than actually training the citizen, no?

thanks for this, so its gaurenteed to lose HP. according to this, begginers get 12hp per level while pirates get 42 per level (battle mages get 32hp per level, which would explain the 100hp lost in the lvl 15 civ->bam). 30 HP per level lost is considerate, since by lvl 40 that means roughly 900hp lost.
hm. tough call. Sounds like avoiding the rush in the beggining is not worth it. I like my HP...
