Question to those who have e-readers:
#1
what do you use them for, aside from the obvious? I got one for x-mas, and, quite frankly iuno what to do with it. I prefer to read actual books, and while the thing can do more than just be a book reading device, my laptop can do nigh everything this thing can.

specifically, ive got a nook. Iuno what the hell to do with it. =|

Return it and buy a Kindle. The Nook is backlight and will hurt your eyes akin to a laptop screen. The Kindle uses electronic ink and is identical to that of a book.

Funny. The only thing on this thing with a backlight is the touchscreen.

Though I was more concerned with what the hell this thing can even be useful for.

If you're going to buy an e-book reader why would you get anything other than a kindle?

don't know. I never asked for one nor showed any intent on wanting one. my mother assumed that, since i like to read, i'd like this.

Ah, the old e-reader. I used mine to play such classic great games such as Kirby Slide Puzzles, old school Donkey Kong, and the likes! Sure, it was a lug to carry around, I saved up money for weeks as a kid, and I only used it a few times...

Oh wait wrong e-reader
