Guildy said Windraiders dropped badges like rain now. You have to do some pre-quests at level 70 to be able to trade them with Joco of the Raven Ninja Clan.
He usually gives 750k meso for 50 badges. Sometimes a scroll, sometimes a weapon. Raven's Eye (level 80 xbow) is the grand prize, I believe.

750k mesos and silver crows are the most common rewards (it's the level 40 xbow or something?) Those are equally about 45% chance, and the rest of the rewards are about 10% total.

So figure about 750k per 200 Windraiders, since badges drop so often.

Are the other badge rewards still in post-BB?
I turned in three sets of WR and one set of SB badges and got mesos for all of them.
Usually I would get other items with that many, but I suppose it's possible for it randomly to be all mesos.

probably just got lucky ;D

But seeing as the badges drop like rain, you shouldn't need to worry too much about the equips and scrolls and junk. It'll all come with time i suppose.

There is one that you can just trade in 25 of each badge, and you get 2.5mil, nothing else. Unless the other badges are still rare.

Actually I think it's 3.5m.

for low lvls= kill pigs 100mesos each ribbon
for high lvls= do the windraider exchange quest it gives 750k and the drop of the medal is fast compared to another monsters Wink 6/7 was 750k reward when I tried

Windraider badges for mid levels (70~90)

Nightshadow badges for higher levels (100+)

Night shadow badges arent as good as windraider badges, but the reward is a cool 2.5 mil, plus there are equips to be had and scrolls (good scrolls, like dagger and claw and such).

I turned in 5-6 sets of WR and got mesos and silver crows, haven't seen the scrolls yet.

What quests do you have to do to be able to turn in these badges

You need to do a jack barricade quest where he gives u a map as a reward which u give to the head of the ninja clan and you can do the exchange quest except to do that jack barricade quest u need a bunch of pre-requisite quests done including subani's legacy and versal's quests

Windraider badges are the only one's dropping like crazy oddly... I've been to Stormbreakers, Firebrands, and Night Shadows and so far their drop rates remained as low as they were Pre-Big Bang strangely, and yes 750,000 mesos per 50 badges, and if you have enough space that's a few million about every hour...

One plus is, running into a lone stray Big Foot now isn't as bad... so heading up to WRs is easier kinda.

I dunno, I think the Stormbreakers have an increased drop rate. It's not as good as the Windraiders, but I know I was able to find more of them than when I hunted for them pre Big Bang. However, I agree on the Windraider badge drop, it's sick and a great way to make some money on a new server, starting over unfunded, or just desperate for mesos. XP

Since we've agreed on the meso power of Windraiders, what map and what cycle process do you all suggest? Originally, I remembered Tornado Corridor being great EXP on my pre-BB I/L Mage, but now, after testing, I can blow through the entire map and run an additional monsterless lap before spawn even occurs. As a result I've gone to Lower Ascent but there's a bunch of backtracking necessary, are any of the cave maps better, should I CC through multiple channels?

Level 106 Chief Bandit.

I get around 800 WindRaider badges every 45 - 60 minutes (sorta) and 50 StormBreaker badges. With those, I usually trade them in for 9m + items. I've gotten 60% Bow, Knuckle and (I think) Claw scrolls, as well as stupid Silver Crows.

Life's good in Lower Ascent.

I would still say Tornado Corridor is best. They moved around everything in Lower Ascent and the caves now have less a spawn rate.

The statue on the second platform from the bottom of Lower Ascent is a warp point that sends you near the top of the map.

Fortunately the Subani (John Barricade) and Versal (Elpam Gorlab) quests are now very easy.
How easy? I got all the hyperglyphs needed before I finished killing the 200 electrophants needed for Cleaning Up the Streets, that's how easy.
Make sure to do Subani and Versal in parallel, as the Fire Tusks you have to kill for Subani's first quest drop the Magents for Versal's first,
and Electrophants drop both Hyperglyphs (Subani) and Temporal Fragments (Versal).
All of those are quest items you won't see unless you have the quest active, so, as I said, be sure to accept the quests at the same time.
