Where the hell were the signups for this?

I wanted in. ;_;

EDIT: ghsagajspag I didn't post in the other thread since I didn't have any flash games to add; didn't see that it was your unofficial sign-up...

EDIT2: Also, I really don't think iSketch should be included, simply because of how it works (relying on knowing certain things and relying on others knowing that as well (and sometimes basing your guesses off of those of other people), compared to being skillful at the other games).

Which iSketch room would we play in anyways :O

I know we've done quite a few pokemon iSketches in the past. The english room was wtp retarded when I tried that one out.

Er, it's not like words are always complicated. Googling isn't disallowed, plus I'll have rules set up to accommodate for words that are obscure.

Back to my question then... are we doing a specific iSketch room?

From your previous statement it almost sounds as if we're doing an English room. Which I guess is ok. (coughPokemoniSketchftwcough)
And as for obscure words, we can always just skip em, no?

Also, regarding iSketch, you should perhaps put into the rules section how the room should be created:
Time Limit per round
Rounds
Grace period to answer questions
Number of words provided to artist

...that sorta thing. If it's not the same for all of the players it could skew results a bit.

Also.. ffff--- too many competent people to face D:

Was kinda hoping round 1 would be a cakewalk... time to brush up on my english Rolleyes

I'm er...still figuring out the rules. I never thought of the issue until about an hour ago, in fact. But it'll just be a plain room with 25 rounds as is common in most Southperry iSketch rooms, with a regular word list. What I'm thinking of is that the artist who's supposed to be drawing an obscure word contacts me (through IRC, figuring that out too), I'll determine whether or not the word is too uncommon to be drawn and skip accordingly.

Artists get (10+#of guessers)pts for drawing. So if they're forced to skip an obscure word, they miss out on a big number of points possible (vs someone who gets something silly like.... pencil)

Guessers get:
1st: 10
2nd: 9
.
.
.

so yeah. Coming across obscure words will hurt the artist. Something to keep in mind.

With your approval of the obscurity of the word... perhaps have everyone there after skip also so that it gets back to the same artist? That way they dont miss out on good pts due to a bleh word.

Skipping as an admin command erases all points that might have been gained.

I recommend Pokemon iSketch Biggrin That way, there won't be obscure words. Also, I (and I'm sure others too) have a language other to english for my first language. Of course I know english very well (and I'm sure the others too) but I could be in disadvantage with some obscure words.
They're 3 iSketch round in each group, right? How about 3 different themes?

POKEMON FTW!

On average each person should be up to draw around 4-10 times (10 if Ben chooses 25-round games, which SP has a history of playing), so the obscure word problem should even out and become less of a problem.
