Any sighting of the elusive Big Cat?

Well this is definatly a new twist to the puzzle. As I see it, there are 3 logical answers to this

1)The guy wrote pm instead of am

2) Nexon made it so jaira spawns around every 12 hours

3)Nexon just made jaira spawned at random intervals of unknown time

I would like to add tibits of my own opinion of this,

1) Most plausible explanation
2)Not very plausible, since there would be a lot more jaira sightings I would assume. Allthough they did changed the spawn time of Blue Mushmom.
3) No real comment to add for this...

A recent reply in the other thread makes this inch towards number 3 at the moment. I'll try hunting for Jaira tomorrow or on Monday.

friend got one around 4:30 pm pst and saw another one in the next ch. So its not one Jaira per channel. Also, I couldn't go in the map where he was with the 2nd Jaira for whatever reason. I tried reentering and ccing over 10 times.

One got caught around 4-5 pm pst in ElNido. And there was another one in the next channel. I couldn't get into any of those maps >.>. Edit: Ninjaed.
Edit2: Oh and the 2nd Jaira disappeared. He didn't really see the Jaira disappear, but he left the channel to look for another one. When he was back in the channel, Jaira was gone. Ya, I suppose someone could have captured it. He cced for less than a minute though, and he was in the 2nd Jaira's ch for 12 or 14min waiting for me.

I'm just putting it out there, im confused on what your saying? The former makes me believe you found two different jairas in two different channels, while the latter suggests you found two different jairas in the same channel.

Going to test my luck at 12am today

Just went through all channels in Bellocan. Nothing. No idea about the different map IDs though. I could only get into ---500

Ill wait for more confirmation about saying that 12-1 pm spawn really exists. I'll go verify today since im going to train in eldestein for 2x anyway.

I rather not spread false information, and we still got the matter of it spawning at 4:30 pst when it had no business spawning at that time.

heres a thought for you, what if it spawns at 12:00 PM but it doesnt actually spawns till some1 enters the map? that would be the reason for it spawning at 4:30 for the less crowded servers. I've already seen ppl catch jaira at 12-1pm and 12-1 am, so i am not spreading lies lol.

I've only seen one person say they caught it at 12 pm pst. I'm not saying your spreading false info, i meant to say I don't want anyone to be misinformed since I hate people wasting their time for no gain (sorry if that comment earlier seemed like it was directed toward you, sincere apologies!)

It's just weird that only one person has found jaira at that time while dozens more have found during the midnight. And I doubt it would spawn when it enters the map (even though like hell i wish it spawned like that) because even in yellonde, where we top the charts of the dead, almost no one has seen a jaira spawn / captured.

After reading this thread I was excited to go look for him. I went in cc 2 and immediately found him . Happened at around 1pm pst. Kinda disappointed his speed caps at 190 though :/

No that was a false alarm, she already had one. What we need now is to confirm the time(s)

The WZ files do not show Jaira spawning. If it spawns, it's from a server sided script.

There are five ways you can tell that the Jaguar you are seeing is indeed Jaira:
1) Glowing eyes
2) Jaira is very black - more black than the blackest standard jaguar.
3) When you attack it, you do only 5 damage compared to 25.
4) Because of #3, you can knock back a standard Jaguar, but you cannot knock back Jaira.
5) Jaira also has a lot more HP. He has 300 HP, so it will take more than 50 whacks to capture him compared to a normal jaguar's 3.

Also, looking at the files, I only see one map where jaguars spawn.

You will have to be quick to get him. The WZ files state that once Jaira spawns he gets removed from the map after 15 minutes. So if he only spawns once per day per channel, that's not a very big window.
