hmm though he is right that a LOT of people posted up messages saying they got a Jaira two days ago...

I'm thinking us Southperrians should work together to find which Map ID it spawns it.
So like I camp in 931000500, and then nine other people camp in the other maps - a different map ID each - to find which one Jaira appears in.

I'll be doing a run tonight so see if it indeed does spawn at midnight PST.

Yes, there is a way to do it. It doesn't even require packet decryption. Hold on. I'm going to edit this post.

EDIT: Okay this is what I have to do for Win7 64-bit.

1. Log in to your character in the game.
2. ALT+TAB out
3. Open the registry
4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Wizet\MapleStory\siFieldID which is type REG_DWORD

exact/approx time?

Between 1200PST - 1226PST... She gave me an approximation of catching it 20 min ago. At that time it was 1226.

SweettSauce had one two days ago. She was hanging out there last night with it too. So the MapID probably isn't right. Yesterday she gave me an approximate time of around 12-1 pst.

No screenshots to prove it since I apparently can't take them with this computer, though.

Camping all day in a channel to test some theories.
So far, from the available information...

Blue notice from spawning, looks special, notable glowy eyes. 2, and 3, are a duh. 1, I didn't know.
If Jaira spawns, he spawns in other channels, on the same map. It's unclear if it's available for other maps, or just a single map/ID. If anyone can or runs into a Jaira, after catching one, or if you already have one, try to enter other maps, and see if you can find another one. And there's the 10 man thing up above, that idea sounds fun.

Currently staked out at Channel 16, Bera, Map 509, was 'dead' for 4 or so hours, there's a chance it could've spawned then. There's also a chance it could've spawned, but the notice didn't appear. And lastly, there's the chance it still hasn't spawned/didn't spawn at all. Might as well confirm some theories and thoughts while I'm at it. Yawn.

Slept for 4 or so hours, had trouble getting back to sleep. Whatever, makes a Christmas present for my friend.
This reminds me of field boss sketching in Mabinogi. At least people work together in both situations. Blah blah blah.

After reading this thread I was excited to go look for him. I went in cc 2 and immediately found him . Happened at around 1pm pst. Kinda disappointed his speed caps at 190 though :/

Well this is definatly a new twist to the puzzle. As I see it, there are 3 logical answers to this

1)The guy wrote pm instead of am

2) Nexon made it so jaira spawns around every 12 hours

3)Nexon just made jaira spawned at random intervals of unknown time

I would like to add tibits of my own opinion of this,

1) Most plausible explanation
2)Not very plausible, since there would be a lot more jaira sightings I would assume. Allthough they did changed the spawn time of Blue Mushmom.
3) No real comment to add for this...
