GMS has recorded "136,000" users " Best Ever "

Would be even better if they made hot time event in a time that Australia, Europe and Israel can play. Should be over 30% of the population that lives outside US/Canada.

If you find a time of day that is convenient for all those regions, let me know. They would rather suit 70% than 30%. It wasn't too impossible for Europeans (11pm or so) or Australians (8am, give or take an hour). Not 3am for anyone in GMS service area.

Anyway, I had 6 users logged in at Hot Time. Couldn't have done that if it wasn't in the middle of the night, because the other members of the household would be using their computer.

I fucking knew it, the damn ring event coupled with the two hot times were all just oppurtunities made by Nexon to try and beat their concurrency records.

I bet they counted the users while the Hot time event where everyone logged in mules right when the event finished it turned from 136k to like 90k people rofl

And 90% of people is crashing hard with their Windows 7/ Vista computer.

Read again some of you; it's how many users are on at once all the time, not how many total players there are. Good god 136,000 on all the time? That's still a lot of bandwidth to be sucked up. Imagine if even a million were on at once. They'll need backup powa. Know this, even good private servers can at most host a couple hundred people. You gotta imagine how much power they need to host 136k.

You have an upload speed of 106 Mbps? That's 50x what Comcast Cable is giving me, and the last time I saw such upload speeds is at Universities or colleges. :f6:

He's likely taking the speed of his wired connection to the router and not his actual internet speed.

Mozilla, go to a bandwidth checker online and test it that way.
