@Dusk:Isn't Better to leave Adv.Dark chain where it reaches the highest mob count possible and max it later?

well , I'm almost 70 and for 2nd job I went.
1 quad 1 chain 1 yellow
5 mastery
5 booster
max mastery
max yellow aura
max dark chain
max quad
max blue aura
13 drain
rest into booster.
my reasoning is that quad blow gains such a small boost from level 2-20 that it can wait, meanwhile dark chain gets almost twice as strong and its awesome when it can 1hko mobs sometimes, makes training epicly faster.
the short booster is frustrating though, but in the 120 +s when you're dealing massive damage compared to your HP drain is prolly gonna give me full hp constantly so I don't mind the sacrafice.
as for 3rd job I'm going with the following
1 adv chains , 1 quintuple blow , 1 dark shock , teleport mastery and then
max battle mastery
max tele mastery
max conversion
max quintuple blow
past there I'm not sure but i'll see how it works out.
so far I'm really enjoying it, mainly because of dark chains.

I'm actually 3rd job now and I don't see how you gain anything from maxing Conversion, Body Boost, or Adv Blue Aura while training. I don't use Conversion while training because it's pretty expensive and I have plenty of HP already. Body Boost gives the 60 second Booster effect at level 1 (which is what I'm after) and maxing it just increases your avoid and speed slightly. Adv. Blue Aura is left til last because you'll hardly ever use it.

Superbody's cooldown is the only thing of value at that point, in my opinion. Conversion is useless since things don't OHKO you. Unless you want it to use %HP potions for some reason, it's not necessary. Adv Blue is basically Elemental Resist for all the jobs that have that; last priority, if at all necessary.

Oh, I missed the fact that Super Body's cooldown goes down with level. In that case, it might be worth leaving Adv Dark Chain at 1 or 11 until Super Body is maxed.

On the whole blood buff argument I'm pretty sure that 1% of your dmg will be 10% of your max hp especially when you are mobing

Wait, why should I max Adv. Blue Aura? Aura's are useless since you can only have one going at a time and if I have to choose, it's ALWAYS going to be yellow because speed is more important than def to me.

When just conventionally training/griding, which aura is the best to use? From reading the above, you all seem to agree that blue isn't that great, so should we go with the extra speed from yellow, or the attack from dark?

Because i haven't updated this guide in a long time and i refuse to do so until i'm at least level 100 on my BtM.

I honestly don't find Dark useful at all while training. The damage is barely noticeable, especially when you spend all your time mobbing. I added a point in Yellow at level 30 because the attack speed is great, plus you get a bunch of speed later on.
Faster (2) attack speed with Body Boost is amazing. soooo fast

Given that it appears to be your base max hp (+hp gear, even with raw numbers and not %s, doesn't factor in) you definitely will eventually, even single target. I still chose to do 5/18 though, and at 2% im almost always hitting my max drain (unless I'm tele'ing through a single target to finish a mob or something). I have booster/drain macro'd and recast both when drain ends anyways, so even if I were in a situation where I'd want to hold off recasting for a handful of seconds, my booster will still last long enough for me to do that. Drain is great, but with the limit being on base max hp (I haven't bothered to put a point into conversion so I don't know if this will somehow be free from the general rule and work for drain, but I highly doubt it) anything beyond 2% is pointless.

5% to 29. Once i hit 30 i'm doing free win CPQ to 50, maybe CPQ2 for the first few levels of 5x.
I plan to do the same build actually. Super body being in much higher priority than i did.

Booster is -2 speed, yes? With a Fast 4 staff (EW or Estaves) you'll already be at the cap, meaning Yellow Aura will just increase speed. I find the extra damage from Dark nice when training.
Also, if you're using Dark Aura, Body Boost suddenly becomes a whole lot more awesome.
