**Update!** We are very sorry that the 2x event did not occur as scheduled on December 25th. We have rescheduled the event to December 26th from 2 PM to 5PM Pacific Time (5 PM to 8 PM Eastern.)

This is pretty shitty. I understand why they think this is right BUT LEVELING ISN'T ANY FUCKING EASIER NEXON
So thanks for making leveling exponentially more difficult, taking away 2x cards, and now ruining your best event of the year, Nexon.

I'm actually glad. I won't feel like I missed out for not staying on 12 hours. Frankly, I've got better things to do with my birthday than spend it all on Maplestory; and while there's nothing stopping me from just not staying on Maplestory, I'll still feel as if I missed out. It doesn't help that 2x exp cards aren't sold anymore.

Personally, I would rather have 12 or 24 hour 2x EXP. That way, I wouldn't be pressured to be on at a certain time and worry about fighting for a map for 2 hours or whether or not my internet's gonna go out. I don't see how you'd feel like you've "missed out", but I guess that's just me since I cannot stand leveling for more than 3 hours straight. I mean I'm grateful we have something but it's kinda like wanting some new socks, pants, a coat for Christmas and only getting the socks.
I could stand for a new coat though...
