Well I searched every channel thoroughly about 20 times each over the course of an hour and no luck. I even stepped out and went back in when there was someone in the map to send me to the next habitat on that channel, still nothing.
So, do we know for sure that Jaira disappears after 15 minutes? Or is there hope that he's just wandering around until he's found?

Confirming no Jaira in Bera, I've been camping for the last hour at ch1.
As for people wondering how the system works, it's exactly like mini dungeons - there are 10 instances of the map and you are sent to the first instance which is not in use. CCing, however, leaves you in the same instance regardless of whether there is someone there or not. ScherzoDeLuce Wrote:i've searchedI am not aware of any in-game function that allows you to see the ID of the map you are currently in. If there is one, you are welcomed to share your method. EDIT: I just noticed the guy in the intro screen is riding Jaira. Silly me.

Jaira only spawns in one of 10 maps, in one channel, once a day for only 15 minutes and then it disappears? :f6:
There goes my hope of ever getting one. ![]() No wonder KMS players prize it so highly...

I'm curious. This morning I was "attempting" to hunt a Jaira, however someone was able to get on my map. It was brief, but I did see it. Now I see in your post that if one person gets on the map, then the other person ccing is automatically sent to the other map id (or am I misreading your post?). However I was able to get on one map with someone on it and he was able to get into my map. Can you explain this or did something happen? Unfortunately I can't provide a screen shot of this.
I just looked at Kortestanov's reply and got an answer to this. :x I asked something useless V_V

I bolded the part that i think your misunderstanding. The way I can explain this is with an example: Say you in map 7 in ch 1. Guy 2 is in map 7 in ch 2. You cc from ch 1 to ch 2. As long as you stayed inside the map while ccing in ch 1, you will be brought t map 7 of ch 2, no matter how many people are already inside. That is why you meet Guy 2 in ch 2. Hope that makes sense.

I wonder if maybe we got the time wrong? What if it doesn't spawn at 8am pst but between 7-8am pst... I think that's how it worked in KMS.

I made an account here just to help you guys, since you I saw how hard you guy's were trying. x)
Anyways, here's a link to nexon forums where the person who caught the jaira posted. http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums...hread.aspx I believe the time you guys searched was wrong, it is probably 11 am - 2 pm est or 8 am -11 am pst. Also, it spawned at the top right. Good luck!~

Yes, there is a way to do it. It doesn't even require packet decryption. Hold on. I'm going to edit this post. EDIT: Okay this is what I have to do for Win7 64-bit. 1. Log in to your character in the game. 2. ALT+TAB out 3. Open the registry 4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Wizet\MapleStory\siFieldID which is type REG_DWORD

Also, i discovered some things too.
In the maple forum, someone got a jaira and posted a screenshot. According to the properties of the image, the screenshot was taken at "21/12/2010 12:49 pm" with photoshop CS5 Does that help?

Yup, I guess it supports when jaira appears IF his computer time is correct. Let's take a few minutes out from when he's capturing it and I would say, Jaira would spawn at Approx. 12 pm.
