What happened to original Battle Mage?

This is the guy I'm talking about. Why did he get replaced by that red head?

Serious answer btw. not a personal opinion but probably one Nexon felt.

Though, an even better answer; ingame, having him in the character selection art would have been a tiny spoiler for people starting off their resistance characters.

Because it doesn't really fit with the Maplestory classes (his character is shaped like a NPC- idk how to explain better) as in it has a block head and such, it just wouldn't work + he's ugly as shet.

I think he looks waaaaay better than the one that made it into the game.

That's the job instructor, and their silhouettes. They didn't get "replaced", imo.

He doesn't have a marketable hairstyle for when they release Battle Mage and Wild Hunter hairs.

It's weird how they kept the Wild Hunter character but switched the Battle Mage

The Wild Hunter character and instructor is the same, but Battle Mages and Mechanic have separate ones, though I do quite prefer the new one, the old one was not a Maple Style character.
