Screenshot of the GM promising no 2x cards?

I'm certain I've seen a screenshot of this somewhere. I mean, when 2x cards first came out, people were posting the thing everywhere, calling the GMs liars and such. Now, someone I know is certain the GMs never said it, and I can't find the screenshot anywhere, of course.

I guess what I'm asking is, does anyone have the screenshot? It's pretty old, and I've searched myself for about an hour, and I couldn't find it. The picture consists of a player and a GM. The player asks the GM if there will be buyable double EXP cards in the future, and the GM says no. >->'

The reason was because of all the demi hackers back then =\ They screwed us all in alot of ways truthfully.

Anywho, I get where you're coming from since I do recall there being a major upset in the community before 2x cards were introduced, but sadly I don't remember anything about the GMs dismissing the cards.

GMs talk crap all the time anyways.

i am certain too, in fact, several times over GM's that i had seen said explicitly that they would never come. one GM asked about it said that essentially that they didnt think it was a good idea with gms. presumably at the time they were thinking about all the hackers and the effects it would have on the game if they were released during the days of the uber hackers. since theyve mostly trashed the hackers now i guess they just deemed it a good idea gameplay wise and money wise.

Don't forget that GMs don't make policy.

And those in power are human too, and humans are known to change their minds.

pretty much.. I got that same notion just by looking at the SS. I'd be annoyed as well if I was making my rounds and people kept on asking me about stuff coming out & plus you can lose your job too(believe it or not)

This would've been in 2004, since Nexon (known as NX Games before) took over Maplestory in 2005. And back then there hasnt been omega sector out in gMS.

It wasn't that long ago, and Nexon had already took over Maple by the time they released 3rd job, if I remember correctly. That SS is about a year and a bit... and it isn't mine, lol >_>
