Why do people like new servers?

Why? Just asking cause i don't.

Some people have an obsession with being the top class in the server.

(They are the freaks and rejects of the other worlds)

People seem to like the feeling of starting fresh on a new server.

That and the usual new server events.

The one other reason besides what people have already said is, now with El Nido there's less lag for east coast players. And I've been noticing the lag recently with the large boom of people.

Some people want to start over.
Some people are attracted to new server events (2x for faster leveling, or level up events for new items).
Some people want to get away from older servers to get away from other players with event items they could never obtain.
Some people want see it as a chance to become an elite member of the community more easily (its easier to compete when everyone starts over).
Some people are attracted by the new forms of competition (race to 200) that comes with a new server.

I could go on.

There's also the fact that people want to join a server and help actually make it good. Remember, it's all up to who plays: if people like keith play, they're just going to leave. People like Greg and Loose deleted their mains to move to Zenith.

It's not really that you're leaving, it's just that you could potentially start a bandwagon of a lot of us leaving.
