For those who use xfire, does it work with you on MapleStory?
Lately it hasn't been working for me, so I've been using Fraps instead. I've tried manually and automatically detect settings on Xfire In-Game but neither seem to work. Any suggestions?

This worked for me.
#1. In the start menu, input C:\ProgramData\Xfire in the search bar.
#2. Find & open xfire_games in Notepad.
#3. Ctrl+F, search for MapleStory (There should be two of them).
#4. On the line that says InGameRenderer, change D3D8 to D3D9.
#5. Repeat #3 until you don't find any other MapleStory.
#6. Restart Xfire.
#7. Go to the Xfire options -> Game tab -> highlight Maple & check that it says D3D9 in the In-Game Renderer box. If not, repeat the process again.

What Aggravate said is the only solution to this for now, until the XFire staff updates the configuration file. MapleStory switched from DirectX 8 to DirectX 9 with the Big Bang patch, but XFire still has the settings to check for DirectX 8, so it can't get an in-game hook.
