Just tried Zak while monitoring it's memory usage. It peaked at ~525 MB. Disabling it seems to solve the memory leak problem, but it doesn't stop Windows from forcefully closing it. After my 30 minute exp buff ran out in Zak, my client closed.

Originally mine lol.
@Tikey
My memory usage goes from 13k upwards to 335k. Doesn't go higher than that. What graphic card do you use?

Finally tested it, seems to work perfectly fine. I no longer eat up 1.2gig+ now, I just don't understand how the music looping would screw you over.

Confirming that it works. Did the bodyguards and grandpa followed by a pap. No misshaps. Win 7 64-bit is what I have.

Ok. Disabling my sound card did NOT fix things for me. At 2nd body zak started disappearing, bringing up the system menu to change graphics resulted in a completely invisible system menu, and because of that i ended up changing to full screen which made the client constantly switch. Had to close the client. These are the same symptoms i've had for a long time, so it doesn't look like turning off the sound card did anything at all.

I should note that this doesn't really fix the zakum disconnection problem that existed way before big bang. Its second body started to flicker on me and memory usage was super high. The only thing disabling your sound card does is fix the problems that came with Big Bang.

Well, before Big Bang Zakum would flicker on and off, and the usual problems would occur. Yesterday I disabled my sound card put graphics all the way down, and used 800x600 and didn't have a single problem. I'm running Windows 7 64bit with an nvidia graphics card.

Well, at least disabling the sound driver helps counter this infinite sound loop issue that originally came about from jMS, I hear. Now to just fix the flickering problems along the invisible windows & d/c issues that's been plaguing us for the longest time now. >_>

Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit, 800x600 and low graphics
Pap with sound = dc in 5 minutes
Zak duo without sound = 30 minutes and no dc.
Thanks for the tip

Big thanks to LOCKED for his post on Disabling Audio drivers, 8 of us went into HT last night, some on XP and others on W7, and only 1 person DC'd, THE GUY WHO DIDNT LISTEN TO US TALIKING ABOUT DISABLING YOUR AUDIO DRIVERS BEFORE THE RUN FOR AN HOUR. It has solved my Zak issues, plan on testing it on Czak sunday.
