The client I spent 4 hours to download on patch day was corrupt, and the six-hour download for the next one finished too late. So I've got 4 rings that are a day behind.

I started with only 24 rings on the first day (6 accounts, 4 characters each) because I got home late from school. On the second day I started 5 more rings. On the 3rd day, I got home late again, so 2 of my potentially perfect rings and all 5 of my later rings fell behind 1 day. I've kept it at 22 perfects, 2 1-day late, and 5-2 day late so far.

Only going for two rings - I dont' really have the time to play Maple right now and my laptop is at the shop so I can't do two simulatneously.

These kind of events previously make it hard for me to stay off Maple (ugh, attendance events on top of time-based events) so I'm glad I'm only going for two. ;P

Goodness me...

OT: I have 1 that is a day behind. Missed the first day.

While i could have gotten 3 rings on my account and kept the other 2 for future selling, i can barely be assed to even log in lately, so just the 1 will do.

8 Perfect at the moment, likely to become 6 as time progresses. Two laptops and two desktops was the plan, but the second desktop won't run maple properly at all, and since it isn't mine, I'm not given the time to worry about it. Also been having about a 50% failure rate on my personal laptop running XP thanks to DCs midstream that crash to the point of forced log out of the computer.

I mainly just wanted one per my 6 accounts so that I didn't have to break out my laptop every time I wanted to swap it around. The second ones on two of the accounts are set aside for resistance for now.

Gotta say, just over half way there, and I'm getting really sick of this already.

(This is pretty much one of the reasons I don't really wanna quit MS, if I ever decide to come back, there's so many things that change (potential, new equips), and things that come from events only (explorer ring, time medal, this ring...) that you fall behind way too much if you quit for a while)

I think Nexon has improved a lot since that famous Lunchbox event, where if you missed one day you got a big fat nothing.
This event has very nice "consolation prizes" if you miss one day, or two, or even half the event. Your rings may not be as awesome as those of people who can participate every day, but they will still be better than zombie rings.
My only beef with the way this event is structured is the final day single-point-of-failure. If you can't log in on Dec 23rd, your ring(s) will remain untradeable. Which is not too bad if you got it on your main, but if you have several chars you want to use the ring on, and didn't have the time to afk each of them an hour a day, you're screwed.
I really hope that's just inaccurate phrasing on Nexon's part, and they actually mean Gaga will turn your ring tradable on the 23rd *and later*.
(Just as they said you can get your Time Traveller Medal on some day, and it ended up you could get it any time after that day).

As for quitting, I know exactly what you mean. I keep thinking I want to quit this game, it's no longer any fun. But then I think, like now, "If I do want to return a few months down the line, I better have a perfect Big Bang ring, so I'll just finish this event and then quit"... Nexon of course uses this psychology to bind us...
