Creating Character Error

I just downloaded GMS. I was so excited, went into the game. Click on Zenith went into some random channel. I clicked on creating a new character, then i press KOC. They ask the question and i click yes. Then my game just dc. Anybody know what happened ? I tried many times but i just dc when creating a character

Maybe Im outdated, but before when cygnus first came out, you could only make one after you made an adventurer that got to level 30 or higher. Don't know if its still true, but it would explain the d/cing?

When I click create a character and click yes, my maple will just shut down and there would be this error: Maplestory stopped working

I tried clicking on all sorts of classes (Aran,Evan,Adventurer,DB and KOC) It stills dc

Can you create a character on other servers?

Nope. I tried Bellocan,Mardia,Gallicia,El Nido, all can't

Do you happen to live outside North America? It might be a IP ban if you do.

Did you install the 0.93 version from ManualPatch, Autoupdate, or Full Client?

I doubt it would be an IP ban. If it was an IP ban he couldn't even log in.

Like...what happens? You just exit the game with no ad? No error message? Everything just blacks out and you're there staring at your desktop?

It was level 20 actually, and they stopped doing that like 1-2 months after they came out

Yeah @ Corn. And ya mine was version 0.93 and no i was not IP-Banned i was able to get into the game

Could just be new server traffic.

Meaning? i use window vista

Vista shouldn't have an issue with character creation. In fact no OS should. As said it's probably a server error due to traffic. Remember the server just opened so there are probably tons of people inside all trying to play at once.

You didn't answer the question, do you live inside North America? (Canada, America, Mexico) Because it's possible that you could log in but you couldn't make a character if IP banned. If you do live somewhere inside North America then never mind.

The block works like this, because I can't dechiper what you mean: If you are from europe you cannot log onto an account that is younger than a certain date, the date where the EU block was activated. Even if you get your pal in the US to make a new account for you it would not work when you tried to log onto it. What Meta is fishing for is if B1gbang might be from outside the service zone trying to log on a newely made account. The fact that he is getting past the login might be a bug, and he would crash trying to create a character. Of course this might not be the case, but it is as good a guess as any.

The same thing happened to me! What I did was, figure out all of the creation stuff ahead of time and then try to click through the creation screen quickly. After several attempts I got to the end but got disconnected. After logging in to try again, the char. creation was successful!

I have no idea what causes this dc problem...

I live outside North America and I am using a proxy to play. I did not know about the account...I wanted to make a new one ytd but was told my email and username was used. When I click lost my password I retrieve my old password and was able to log in. So I am not sure about anything happening right now ??
