That's the other part of the reasoning. I really don't want submissions that aren't serious and have them mocked just so people can get a good laugh out of it.

ETA: It also makes it a complete waste of time on our parts. Time is something I have to organize on a daily basis. No room for error there.

I still don't see how it could possibly take up any more time for the mods to simply not vote for an entry they don't like, but I'll take your word on it. It's not an issue I personally find very big, but maybe someone else here does.

Would we get to at least see all the entries after the contest is over then? Even if we can't see how many votes they got.

As long as the images were within the rules of both the contest and the R&R we'll post the disqualified ones after voting is over.
I don't want disqualified entries to distract people from the real contest, which is why the mods are going first.

You are more than welcome to submit something you've already created. I love art and can't wait to start seeing some soon. I can't draw or paint to save my life. I guess that's why I can appreciate it so much lol.

Ended up drawing a fat angry guy with a mullet and neckbeard. While clearly representative of Southperry, probably not what you're looking for. What a shame.

Anyone is eligible. Since I'll be the only one seeing who submits what, MODS can create one if they'd like. No one else will know if a MOD has designed one. Even Eos won't know until everyone else does.

Only a couple so far. They were probably submitted so soon because I'm guessing one already had it designed from an earlier time and the other was just quicker on the draw. Though I like them already. I'm excited to have more in my inbox soon.
