Quick question regarding Stirgeman equipment.

Sup gaiz, I'm on 2x drop right now collecting an assload of the items needed to upgrade Stirge-on-a-strings. I'm aware that things can DOWNGRADE instead of upgrade, but I've also heard of things breaking (Though it doesn't seem that common). I'm curious as to what rate an item can break at.

i broke 2/3 stirge on-a-strings T.T

My theory is a 1/3 chance upgrade, 1/3 chance downgrade, 1/3 chance does nothing, and if you get a downgrade on the lowest lvl version of an item, it blows up.

The break rate seems pretty high, actually. I've broken several capes trying to upgrade to the Cloak of Wiliness.
