As stated in other threads:

  1. Accuracy is almost useless. The more accuracy you have, the more accuracy you need to gain in order to affect your hit rate at all. The penalties on hit rate for level differences out weight most accuracy deficiencies.
  2. Accuracy is easy to get. Mastery provides over 60. A regular Zakum helmet adds another 52 or so(?). Even with a measly 200 accuracy, you can hit Pink Bean - the mob with the highest avoid in the game, as far as I remember - over 85% without level penalties. Everything else would be easy picking.
  3. Warriors do not require Dex for most of their gear. They do have some Dex gear which you may want, but they are by no means standard equipment.
You might have some issues with accuracy at higher levels when bossing if you choose to completely ignore accuracy, but Dexless warriors will have no issues for a majority of the time.

kMST did change the formula, but I do not know how influential the change was.

Acc is luk + 1.2*dex, so a regular Zakum helm is 53 accuracy. Chaos Zakum Helm is 81 accuracy, 40-all CHTP is 88 accuracy, etc. It's very easy to get your hands on acc from gear, and you hardly have to worry about it.

If you ever need a giant chunk of accuracy (which you almost never will) then you can use the new ludi cape adn time traveler helm. They both give 400 accuracy so that should settle all the issues. But as been said before already, accuracy is next to pointless in this game, just bomb everything into Str.

For now, don't add any dex..

When MapleStory Chaos comes rolling in, you should begin adding dex because apparently, the lv 130 warrior weapons REQUIRE DEX, and I'm going to predict that the existing equips will too.

If that's gonna happen, they should at least give a free full AP Reset or something. .___.

Checked the stats on those they're weaker than VIP weapons, (although they have 1 extra slot) so they're not worth it. They require 160 of every job's secondary stat so thats going to be a pain for anyone to even bother with. There's also a tradeblock so it might just be better to get a timeless or reverse instead. Well what we can do for now is send in more requests for the visitor pq npc to be turned back on so we can do continue our hunting again.

yeah i honestly doubt that they would just suddenly require dex from warriors. it never been that way since beta (and you know it >:[ )

- Top/bottom beats the 130 overall

You would be adding/switching equips for 140 DEX (because shoe/glove require less dex than the weapon for some reason)
for about 14~% additional STR for the shoe and glove optimally

whether or not it's worth getting DEX is up to the warrior's funds.

Note that in the same patch lv.130 gear was released, lv.120+ potential got nerfed to 3/6/9 just like level 71-120 stuff. So there's no potential advantage on any of the gear. It's just the set bonuses.

There's no harm at going dexless as long as you keep yourself informed of future changes.

Right now though, the warriors are the only ones that have absolutely no need of secondary stats(I believe even mages need LUK to hit stuff now?). So it wouldn't be weird to see KMS mess around with the warrior class to make it need DEX. So yeah, keep yourself informed and plan accordingly.

Personally though, I would at least have 20 base dex, just to be safe. No logical reason at all, just mere paranoia.

I wouldn't bother adding dex at all. I've been dexless on my page on Zenith so far with no negative consequence.

I have 4 dex clean, from equips it is 10dex total and I haven't missed any monsters my level yet and doubt I will for a long while.. maybe only on bosses, but by then it'll be easy enough to get a bit of dex/accuracy. You definitely don't have to worry about adding any dex.
