I made 37 - 40 on my Evan through a 50/50 of grinding/messing around at Kerning Square over about an hour and a half.
Made 1 - 18 in a 50/50 if exploring/questing on a wind archer over 2 hours.
If im honest the only difference i saw really was that at 37 i was getting like 0.70 a kill or something. If thats even a change.

Seems like BB is the best thing since sliced bread for people who never could get as far as 4th Job and the like, but for those of us with higher levelled characters... it feels like its back to the pre 4th job days, grinding at gobies for weeks on end for 1 level.
Really wish that they had done their homework on the world tour monsters though, its totally unviable to train anywhere else from about 45 -> 110 and thats not what this update was designed to do.

170-180 % /hour lvl 103-104 Aran at Galloperas. 1.2 buff though, broken still. Gallos also only deal like 100-200 dmg now.

Jamie_Kurosawa flat out disgusts me. "My rate at 1x is what it used to be at 4x! I don't want to have to do exactly what I would have had to do regardless of BB!"
I don't care if I get banned or warned, you're fucking nuts.

I don't think that's demanding too much.
Nexon America told us there'd be faster leveling, they never said they'd do it in such a way that prevents players in gMS from ACTUALLY leveling faster by removing existing boosters such as 2x and family 2x. For the paying player that was looking forward to grinding even faster, while its great to get 4x speed without paying, from a technical standpoint, the max training speed DID NOT increase and thus... a small dissapointment in that regard.
Its good in one way yet bad in another, much like most elements of life.
Edit: has anyone who does NOT one hit kill mobs they grind on considered party training yet?

900%/hour, 11-20 at blue ribbon pigs. Lulz.
Also, 500%/hour in CPQ room 3/4, maxed trojans, 36-40.

I guess high levels will just have to wait for LHC to level faster.

So far it looks like low level training is significantly enhanced (with or without the broken Maylasian areas), but high level training seems... about the same on 1x (to be clear 1x pre-BB appears to be the same as 1x post-bb for me). At least that is the case for my 150+ characters. At least pre-BB, the 2x cards and family buffs took the edge of grinding, but post-BB we dont have that option.
It could be that I just havent found the right monsters to train on, but so far I'm unimpressed. That and it looks like I can only train my low level characters at night with the best training maps being flooded with 3+ people on every channel.

on top of that the exp kinda sucks -- doing that pre-bb was an awesome option (if you could stay connected)-- now I can get more exp grinding for the same amount of time
Haven't got around to playing a low level char yet but as far a high levels go, yeah it sucks but it's exactly what I expected so I'm not really disappointed because I never expected it to be great

Why are people complaining? The EXP is amazing now. Within an hour at blue wyverns I got JUST under 100% with no buffs. Seriously stop complaining >.> You guys rampage about how hard it is now then say we need BB now because it's "too hard". Yet now BB is out and your complaining more. I swear it's a never ending cycle. You'll whine that you don't have something, then when you DO get it you'll whine about how it is. Seriously just shut up with the complaining.

Two comments to those whining about leveling speeds (to be taken as you will):
1.) While myself and others may be ridiculously high leveled, a lot of us have been playing this game for years, even before the release of 4th Jobs. Back then, when 2x cards were brand new and no other form of stacking existed (aside from the occasional 4x with card + server 2x), and the best maps to train on included those in Aqua and the Ludibrium clock dungeon, grinding was slow. as. hell. I'd imagine quite similar to what many 170+ players are finding now, only that it's probably STILL faster now than it was then. Yet people still leveled, had fun with friends, and hit milestones.
tl;dr lesson: Quit whining about the present rate of training that, while not as fast as what we've had these past 2.5 years, is still much faster than the first 2.5 years of Maple, AND has not only promise but factual anticipation of increasing in the months to come (see point 2 for this).
2.) Going along with point 1, we all know Lionheart Castle will be released soon, the godly party training map that can utilize any high-leveled class well, provided they have the strength to participate. Training there alone should be quite similar to what we had these past few years, though will be even nicer because organizing a party no longer requires organizing around 2x card/buff times. To be honest I think you should all be excited to train in a place like LHC and all other similar maps Nexon now has the potential to create in the future, as the training is a lot more like what Maple was like before 2x cards and crazy maps: a community of players having fun, choosing to go kill grind every now and then when they felt like training, and doing other stuff when they didn't.
In the end, Nexon has taken the "job" aspect out of grinding by removing timed cards and buffs, and will provide adequate, more fun, party-based replacements in the near future and beyond, and you're all complaining about the NOW. Take a look at where we've come from and what lies ahead, and I'm sure any fears or frustrations will be quickly assuaged.

Thank you! I agree. Especially with Chaos adding 160+ new training areas. Not to mention IF NEXON America decides to make a new Masteria expansion(anything is possible) and it IS high level end game. There ya go more training for you.

Level 199 -> 200, but I get where you're going with this. Granted I like the new EXP curve, even when I was doing the "Kill 999 Monks in ML1" quest, I still gained a 2-3% just from the kills alone, normally that would've barely gotten me 1% alone.

Oh the last level is above a billion? I could've sworn it ended at like 760m or something.
