Evolving Ring Event Details

I just hope they fixed whatever it was in Tespia that prevented my ring from evolving.

MapleStory went from an amazing place to be to almost nothing in just a few short years.

All you need to do is unequip the ring. According to patch notes it's not fixed.

We better be able to get another box if we dc......

If you dc, it'll be like every other quest of its kind. Just go to your quest menu, quit it, and restart the quest with a new box.

Do not wear the ring while trying to upgrade. You'll have to start over at day 0 if you do this, because Cody will no longer be able to upgrade your ring.

I tried that.
At one point I even dropped the ring and started over at day 0 and never once equipped my new ring.
It still wouldn't evolve.

So if I understand correctly when you try to upgrade the ring you can't have it equipped. Is that for every day, Or just the first, OR only after the first day?

The first ring you get comes with an expiration date, after one hour it will automatically evolve to the day 1 ring even if it is equipped. The rest you must do manually, while not wearing it.

Alright thanks I did not want to pineapple up my ring.

Gee forcing people to stay 1 hour logged each day for SEVENTEEN days is really annoying. Specially considering it's the holidays and lots of people will be traveling...
